Is there a different calculation behind the spending quotient # on sc2replaystats as compared to the SQ on ggtracker? I've been using the sc2replaystats version of SQ as of late but not sure if that's correct now.

SQ is not a useful metric because it doesn't take into account the length of the game. All SS is, is SQ in context of game length (capping out at 30 minutes). 100 SQ in a 5 minute game isn't too hard, but in a 25 minute game it's almost impossible.

Fortunately, IMMORTAL will have no need for 3rd party analysis sites because we'll have everything baked into the actual game. A clear path for improvement, deliberate practice maps and drills, and meaningful statistics that show your progress over time.

Would be nice if either ggtracker.com source was released so someone else could take over maintenance or if calculations were laid out so others could derive the same data from replays directly.

I'm sure sc2replaystats.com is a good way to go, but it looks very convoluted and not fun to use. :S

ggtracker.com has been open source for ages and David has been trying to find someone to take over for equally as long with no luck. If you are the one to save it, let me know!

sc2replaystats.com is the best alternative of the ggtracker. Not only does it have the SQ stats, but it also points out your early game mistakes for free (2 games per day, which is more than enough)! It really is very good, check it out

Scelight replay analyzer is the second thing to look up to when trying to see how well you did

Hey,

i am currently working on a user script / browser extension that will show the spendingskill also in sc2replaystats.
I will use the GGTracker data for that (Thanks to David to show me where i can find the data).
I think i will have a first version by next week, will post it here when it´s ready.

The only downside is: The Script will use static data, and will not be updated, it will stay (forever?) on this data:

Or has anyone an idea where we can get a huge list of replay data containing:
region of replay :devision of player : duration of the game; race of the player; sq of the player

Back on The Staircase while I update my muscle memory from Core 3.0 to 4.0

With the imminent closure of GGTracker it would be great to have the spending skill data readily available on Sc2Replaystats since (unless im mistaken) you only get a readout of SQ for your most recently uploaded game and cannot review this change over time or actively compare it against a particular benchmark.

Nebrot you are the hero we need; any update on your extension?

gggreplays.com seems to be missing all the data that made ggtracker.com useful. Hopefully sc2replaystats people will be willing to provide their data for an even more accurate SQ -> SSkill conversion.

Any way to download ggtracker's data in a palatable format like csv?

edit: you can download ggtracker.com's data from the website from the api like so:
http://api.ggtracker.com/api/v1/spending_skill/<region>/<race>
where region can be 'am' or 'eu' without quotes and race is terran zerg or protoss

gggreplays.com should really be using this data instead of starting from scratch.

hi guys,

i love this way of playing.

Though, i can't manage to get this second benchmark "Time from 2nd Base Complete to 2 Base Mineral Income (1760)", even when i just focus on fullfill with workers my 2 or 3 bases. Is it a bug? coz i see other players who manage to do it on ggreplays.

any help?

I think the benchmark for that is 20 minerals less at 1740. If the numbers are off, just know it means 16 workers on each bases mineral line.
