Hey Jak, I'm not sure if you have seen it, but there is a way to play HotS beta offline, which you might be able to use to make a HotS version of TheCore.

jumping to camera location on the 0 key doesnt work for me,
any idea why that could be?

its Ctrl+Alt+0 and Ctrl+Shift+0 to recall

It should be Alt+0 to create. This might be an issue with different keyboard types. Did you use Phatency's key layout changer to make your version?

I've heard that the Hotkeys are currently missing the new units, but I will definitely explore this as a way to create the files.

Actually, you might be able to manually edit the .SC2Hotkeys files, then test ask someone with HotS to test them.

You can open .SC2Hotkeys files with Notepad, then you can emulate the format for new units.

For example:

I had updated the Hotkey training maps these days. Some AI and client issues are fixed now.
Find them on EU Servers, just search for Z23 at arcade.

I added also melee versions to starcraft where you can play with friends or alone vs. the standard ai. search for Z23 at custom games or vs. AI.

Added also some advertisement for "The Core" check it out and rate!

no its working with every other key, only the 0 recall does not work,

i tried setting it up in other profiles and its the same

Is your keyboard a gaming keyboard? Many non-gaming keyboards and some low-end gaming keyboards do not allow for more than 3 simultaneous presses of certain keys, a hardware issue. We've tried to minimize the chance of this happening, but we can't account for all the possible hardware issues.

The problem learning a hotkey layout that changes your hand position from standard is that I can type perfectly without looking down at the keyboard from years of practice if my hand is on asdf or close, but that's all not helpful any longer.

I know the key I need to hit, but my fingers no longer know where the key is. Even though DarkGrid slightly modified the default position it was close enough that my brain remapped just fine and I wasn't struggling to relearn tough typing.

I'll give it another shot later though.

ok I'm probably missing something here but I can't find a visual map of the keys in the OP though throughout this forum it is referenced to be there. Also the unit move button is set to Q? huh? I downloaded the terran right handed. Sorry if I am being dimwitted... noob here

no its a filco,
it works with all other key combinations only Ctrl+Shift+0 does not,

i looked at TRM 0.4 and i notice a wired thing.

I used the remapper to generate the german layout.
On german keyboards is no right Alt Key its Alt Gr (Alt + ctrl)
I dont know if this is in 0.3.3 but in 0.4 quick ping is on alt + ctrl
that mean on my german keyboard i have only to press Alt Gr to quick ping

i dont know if this is relevant because i have problems to press alt + ctrl (alt gr + ctrl)
at the same time with my thump => may be this hotkey is not thought to be used than the solution is to map it to an other key pls

but it is to be used i dont know the solution

We did not change the "quick ping" button with this update, so it shouldn't be any different.

Are you saying you want to be able to use the quick ping, and you cannot?

the move command has no use. Anything on the opposite side of the keyboard to the homekeys is there because it is inefficient to use it. (move, rally, warp in, etc)

Found a wonderfully easy technique for checking your SCV production that also lines up beautifully with TheCore. I was watching one of MKP's games in the WCS Korean Regional against MVPVampire and his earlygame method concerning production was pretty much based on everything lining up.

Keeping one designated hotkey for your main command center(i use O) and then a separate hotkey binding the main and natural command center together(9 as hotkey for both). This basically allows you from anywhere to keep tab of your entire workerproduction with your middle finger. As you are probably using base cams later on in the game i do however not recommend doing this if you're not yet comfortable(or want to be) with base cams.

Chronoboost obviously mucks this up for protoss and zerg is just another type of system.

i created a new hotkey layout based on standard,
deleted controll group 0 and set the recall to Ctrl+Shift + 0 and setting the group to Ctrl+0
recalling controll groups with zero and ctrl+shift does not work either,
there must be some issue with his key combo,

does anyone else with a german layout have the problem? anyone tested it?

also on the m zerg layout morph baneling is O and explode baneling is I
on the s layout its O and O for both

any specific reason for it or why didnt it move one spot to the right like all other keys?
