@Toster256: Somehow for me, both versions (new 1.0 and 2.0) are not working with a german keyboard. The normal keys (P,O,I....) are working fine. But the special german keys (ü,ö,ä,ß) and the keys with a different position (+,',´,-) are not woring properly. They are displayed correctly, but the key presses are not recognized. If I click the key they work.
@bradman99: As 2.0 was developed as an improvement to 1.0, I woulds suggest learning 2.0.
Thanks! TheCore 2.0 doesn't seem to have a layout for a US QWERTY keyboard, though. Only the UK (which has an extra key). Which should I download, then?

Wow, awesome! Thank you, and everyone for your incredible effort!
Just wanted to pop in and say that I adopted the core about a month ago, and now I use a similar layout for other games as well, and my keyboard is perpetually angled. Thanks. However this has caused me to rapidly decrease the amount of shit I am able to talk during games. Huge problem. I have been considering setting up keyboard macros to type commonly used phrases like. "Nice try scrub." or "Thank you come again." Any insight ofc appreciated.
So i read some stuff and installed TRM for my US keyboard ( iam dutch and as far as i know we use that) but i have issues with my hotkey setup. Do i need to change the hotkeys myself in game options ? I.E when i use the TRM and want to add a reactor it is set on 'o' but my marine production is also set on 'o' so it is producing a marine instead of adding the reactor.
This is with many hotkeys now so have i done something wrong and missed a change i have to make ?
ooooh never mind i see what i do wrong hahaha its ''0'' not 'o' :D :D :D

Oddball question, but I'm just starting to play Eve Online, which seems to have a terrible default hotkey layout. I remember some discussion for how some players in this thread had adopted a Core (ie, JIOP for rightys) sort of layout for other games like MOBAs. Has anyone done this with Eve?

hahahahahaha. that's some efficient BM
Isn't it against Blizzard's TOS, 1 key = 1 action/BM.

EDIT: In general ZRS portugues is ok. Some changes in builds comands (Vespeno gas and spore are exchanged, and infestation pit is in ], next to ç). I'll try more tomorrow.
Hello again,
I'm not sure layout is ok in a spanish keyboard. Cameras and CG seem dificult to create and must push 2 keys at once (Shift+Ctrl p. ex). Alt Gr is Ctrl+Alt when I push it. Here is a capture of global keys. Are they right?
New Core user here. TRM. Terran plat league. It took me 1 week to get use to this new layout. It was a bit painful at first but after 50 games i was as fast as i was with the standard layout. 100+ games later my apm is 70% higher (85 to 145 apm).
Overall the layout is wonderful in comparaison with the standard one. There is some things that bother me though that I decided to change. The cancel button place on U is the first thing I changed, which I moved to 7. It was extremely frustrating to accidently cancel a Building in construction and it even costs me the game one or two time (ex. To cancel a barrack at 14 supply or an OC nearly done...). Also, IMO, F8 (idles workers) was too far and I moved it to delete. It is easier that way to press ctrl+del and select all my idle worker at once. I didnt replace the mass army button.
Now, Im asking myself if I should move the barrack/gateway button on / instead of 9 which is way faster hotkey combinaison (i + /) and easier to press with the thumb.
There is also 2 things I found annoying but that I have no idea how to make them better: It seems that I use the 5th finger for CG too much which is not very fluid... I Always at least one time in the game misclick camera selection (ex. Only the ctrl or shift is really pressed) and it acidently make me create a CG with whatever unit I had selected at the moment..
Anyway, despite all i just said, Im extremely happy with the layout and I want to thank you guys to freely share such great work.
Hey Estevez, I have hard time to check, if those keys are correct, because I do not know your keyboard layout and how those keys are named (like AGUDO). I think the best thing I can do, is providing a general guid line where those keys should be.
So, your Control Groups should be the orange and purple keys in the picture above. And your camera keys should be your home row ( something,P,O,K) and the keys below your index, middle and ring finger (something, something, L) and the one above P. In your pictures some keys are unbound. This is definatly not correct. But you should be able to add the missing keys, following the guid lines above.
@Oleum: Nice, thanks for the feedback. Those changes sound reasonable. Problem with cancle is, that you do want it close, when you need it, and far away, when everything is fine. So we went with U as a medium key. But 7 sounds also good. And the combination of idle worker and control, sounds like a good reason to maybe change it to a closer key.
Concerning your thoughts about the / key. The problem is that you cannot queue multiple barracks with shift, if your thumb is pressing /. And the thumb is a slow finger, so you want to avoid finger repetition. Maybe swap the barracks with the CC or the missile turret. Maybe those keys feel better. I think your other problems might solve themselve over time (at least I hope so). But the ctrl+shift thing sounds serious. Are you using a mechanical keyboard without tactile feedback? Or why are you sometimes not pressing both keys?

Thank you very much. I have tried to do what you say, but I have not just still had it well. It'd possible that you were sending a capture of your controls to be able to do an as exact as possible configuration to the original TheCore in 2.0? Thank you again.
@Toster256: You can use attack move to command medivacs and warp prisms to follow units without picking them up. You just have to take care that they are in a CG without any units with an auto attack.
@Estevez: I am not using the newest version of TheCore 2.0, so my camera hotkeys are different, and I am not sure if the CGs are still the same. But here you go:
I've only just started with TheCore 2.0 ZRM and I can already feel it's potential for a zerg player. I've been told that, to be a good zerg, my macro must be strong. So I've been looking for a good hotkey system to learn before I develop any bad habits; I believe TheCore will do nicely.
I'm having trouble, though...the hotkeys for the Hatchery rally points-- why are they are so far away from the other keys? (Worker Rally is D, Army Rally is V) I'll have to remap these to the pipe key I guess. Surely zerg players use these keys, right?
Hey mindwind and welcome. There is no use of the rally keys for Zerg I know of. The rally points are set, depending what you click on. The rally points for drones is set by clicking a mineral patch/Extractor and the unit rally key is set by clicking the ground. Unless you want to drone rush your opponent and want to rally the drones to the middle of nowhere, you will not need these keys. You might also want to watch this video, which makes Zerg rally points mostly obsolete.
