Should I get ling speed for map control when i wanna go for a roach hydra composition? I feel likeit would also be useful for runbys.

ZvT or ZvP? I skip it in ZvT. Sending a few roaches works sometimes, depending on what they are doing

Can somebody explain to me what are the things in tournamenst like open brackest, loser brackets etc. For example people are not happy that MLG Dala doesnt have open brackets so what does it mean etc.

Open bracket means there's at least some section of the tournament which anyone can play in to try to advance. This MLG doesn't have one.

Losers bracket is for double elimination format where if you lose once you drop down to a second bracket where you can keep trying to get to the finals, and the later you're knocked out of the winner's bracker the less you have to fight your way through it. Eventually the winner's bracket champion and the loser's bracket champion will fight in the final. This MLG is single elimination, so when a player is knocked out, they're eliminated from the tournament with no second chance.

Hey, I havnt played for a few months but came back for HotS. When I stopped playing the meta was really stale and it was right before the HotS beta came out. How much has the meta changed since then and do you have any tips to get my mechanics back to where they were? I play zerg by the way.

If that's a recurring problem then..don't. The default is set up exactly so this won't happen. Of course there are pros and cons for using both, and that's one of the cons of using grid. You can of course just make your own layout by rebinding the keys to your own liking.

I don't use grid, but the layout I do use also has select larvae and build drone on the same button. I rarely make extra drones. I think it's just a matter of not spamming select larvae too much, or (for example) spamming "select larvae, build ling, select larvae, build ling".

Not sure why you'd need that. Your production will almost always be at one place, Where simply double tapping the hotkey for the buildings will take you there. That said, camera hotkeys are never a bad thing.

This is one of the caveats of playing with grid hotkeys, there's not much you can do about it. I still think Blizz should have an "all available larvae" button the same way they have "all available warpgates" for protoss, but that's just me.

I believe the only three 4 player 1v1 maps currently are Antiga, Entombed, and Condemned. Antiga is cross spawns, Entombed is no close by ground, and Condemned is still any spawn.

Depends on what you mean as "stale". If you considered the metagame stale a few months ago, you would probably consider it still so now, but I don't know. In PvZ, Skytoss has become somewhat viable recently, making a final stand in the extant days of WoL GSL, and mass roaches are totally out since all the soul train immortal/sentry all-ins. TvZ is probably the most stable at the moment, both mech and bio are still viable and thus most Zerg tech strains are also viable. PvT is the one that is, in my opinion, the most stale (bio/vikings vs gateway/robo ad infinitum), and has been that way for a while (I play a lot of stargate in PvT, but that's pretty uncommon as I understand it). ZvZ is not exactly stable, since there is still a lot of muta/ling play and even the odd nydus, but it's predominately roach/hydra or roach/infestor based compositions in the mid game these days. TvT and PvP are both stable, but still interesting and refreshing at times. Stargate play has become a lot more common in PvP, usually phoenixes but also void rays and carriers sometimes.

With Terran, no. You should be able to keep up macro with just group hotkeys for your production buildings. With Protoss, I play with camera hotkeys over my production buildings so I can easily lay down chronos, but with Zerg and Terran your camera hotkeys are better placed at important chokes, ramps, etc. You should be able to macro those two races without even looking at your base.

This isn't really a strategy question but does anybody understand the logic behind the workers created field in the performance tab of the score screen? It says that making less workers is better.

Theoretically, two players should stay even in economy over the course of a game. If one player produced significantly more workers, it's either because they lost a lot and needed to replenish or they got behind early and tried to catch up. Generally the only time the winning player builds more probes is when the other player goes for early aggression and fails, cutting workers early and falling too far behind.

I played Starcraft 2 years ago in Gold, but stoped playing after some months.
Now im back with and rly could need some help.
I just have 0 Idea about BOs and stuff.
I play protoss and im looking for some builds.
Is there a good website with builds and stuff?

Ah makes sense. I've been drilled with the "build more workers" lesson for so long that it just seemed odd to me.

Can you magic box widow mines using mutas like you can for thors, or is the splash radius too big?

EDIT: Never mind, found the answer reading the widow mine discussion thread. Pretty sure it's too big.
