Does the warp-in continue when I kill one of these pylons (cause there would be still one power field left) and do I have to kill all two pylons to disrupt the warp-in? Or do I only have to kill the right pylon (to which the warp-in was bound to) to disrupt it?

Odds are he either did a ton of damage with the 6 pool, or you overreacted, or you just let him play extremely greedy to get mutas. A good followup to macro 6 pool is 4gate or 7gate +1

I have no real problem holding the push by doing nexus first because of the amount of unit I can produce, but right now I want to hold the push with 1g expo...so a little help here would be appreciated ^^ -AznBoy00 Answer plz?

Unfortunately I can't actually answer it myself, but if you're having trouble getting a reply here The Protoss Help Me Thread might be better to get you a reply as more people who know Protoss specifically might see it, and it is a more specific issue. Someone here might still be able to help too, just trying to be help as I can since you've not received a reply already.

This is not a simple question, read the OP: What not to ask in this thread When is a good time to expand? (Situational / game dependent) How much damage does a Thor do against light-bio? (Liquipedia) How can I micro better? (Too generic) What kind of 1-1-1 opening do you guys and gals play? (Survey / spam question) I suggest that you first take a long hard look at a fair sample of your replays, come up with some analysis of your own and spend some time figuring out where the issue lies and put together a well constructed Help thread with a link to the replays, your own analysis and a mind open to suggestions and criticisms. Otherwise, there is the Protoss section of the Recommended Threads thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=284255

Previously I maintained 120 and was able to focus and win most of my games and get promoted to diamond. Once I hit diamond my APM has spiked down and I average 70-75. I miss injects, drops, etc. and I haven't been able to win since. Anyone have any tips or tricks to bring it up?

Other than just playing more, there are little flash games that can help. There was a really popular music one at some point I can't seem to find, but if you search TL for mouse accuracy, you'll find some flash games to help accurate and fast clicking training. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=285462 http://www.aim400kg.ru/en/ I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, but as an outside the game way to practice APM, seems like it could help. The other option is APM spam, which of course a lot of people say helps. I don't have any other good ideas, so if I missed something hopefuly someone will say.

Coz it seems like a good idea if they do the archon toilet, I just haven't remember to try yet. Yes, Infested Terrans' timers will continue to count down, both in egg form (and thus hatching into ITs) and while alive their count will also decrease while inside the vortex. Eggs take 5 seconds to hatch, so eggs that go into the vortex will come out as ITs so long as you throw them in no later than 15 secs after the vortex is cast (as vortex lasts 20 secs). See Liquipedia Notes on Vortex at the bottom of the page: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Vortex#Notes I don't see how throwing them into an archon toilet would help though, I'm not sure how splash damage works and whether tanking will work if that's what you're referring to, I'll check.

Thanks for the info. ITs have decent dps if you target fire with them so I was thinking it might somehow be useful, like move your broods away when the vortex finishes and try focus archons, although archons would probably destroy them way too quickly to matter.

You don't, you can't send a move command to a single unit when you have multiple units selected

Destiny using IT vs a vortex. It's better to throw them around the vortex because the Archons will still do splash against them if they go into the vortex

It seems you have to use the little finger to press both "1" and "a" keys. Or, do people use the ring finger for "1" and little finger for "a"? Either way, I feel it is too hard to move fingers that way. I personally use 5a so that my index finger can press "5" quite naturally, then little finger is on "a" anyways. 5a6a7a seems so much easier than 1a2a3a in terms of finger movement. We talk so much about 1a in the game, but since finger movement is hard, doesn't it hinder some improvement for new players coming to SC2/RTS for the first time? I am fully aware that you can change hotkeys, but that's not the point. I have been wondering this since BW days, and I finally decided to ask.
