How come people set their nexuses on 1 hotkey instead of multiple hotkeys?
I find that using it on 1 hotkey confuses my screen or something, for example, when I tap that hotkey, it takes me to a random nexus and so it's annoying.
Also, I can't view the probe progress bar. I like putting nexuses on different hotkeys so that I can quickly view different bases really fast, and view when I have to make the next probe right away.

It makes it very convenient to chrono if they are all on one. Location hotkeys can be used to solve your first issue. It's just personal preference I guess.

What would be a good build for somebody moving from Zerg to Terran? I'd like good Macro builds for each match-up. Thanks!

I'm relatively new to SC2, and the resounding suggestion I'm hearing is to make sure I have the basics down pat before I start thinking about tricky builds or strategies.
It seems that an MM push at 7mins (around 50food) with stim seems like a solid strategy for me to work on. I want to pay particular attention to maximising my army and not skipping SVC production.
My question is - how will I know when I've mastered the basics? Will it be when I'm diamond, masters (currently plat)? Will I be able to reach diamond league with only this strat if the BO is perfect?

Gonna start playing as Toss for a while after about 100 games as Zerg and Terran each, but have a few questions:
1) Is there a trick to warp-ins? I mean, do the pros use a control group of mini-map clicking trip to warp in units for effectively? The way I've been doing it is to select the warpgates, go to the pylon, manually click each one in, and then rally them to the position I need them, which takes my camera attention away from my main army which can be crucial!
2) What are some good PvT and PvP builds? Since I just got done playing as Terran, I know how easily a bioball can roflstomp gateway units, and PvP I just have NO idea. I know liquidpedia is a good resource for builds, but if someone could just give me one build for each setup that is newbfriendly that would be great!
3) One of the main thoughts I had about PvT was using HTs/Archons for PS and Feedback against Thors, but people say that now I can't get the Amulet upgrade for +25 energy, they aren't worth it. Since that just means I need to spawn them earlier so they can get energy, I honestly dont buy that, at least not in Bronze where I am, or even Gold where I want to be. Thoughts?

In Plexa's PvZ guide, it suggests 2 main unit compositions for mid-late game: IST and CSS (Colossus, Stalker, Sentry).
For IST (Immortal, Stalker, Templar), does this also include sentries?? If not, how would this unit composition deal with a zerg tech change from roach/hydra to zergling heavy?

Of course there are sentries. :D It seems that Plexa just didn't want it to be "ISST".

Saracen, I don't know why you closed my thread and put linked to here. My thread is not a newbie question and in fact it is quiet debatable. I demand your answer or I will just copy and paste and make a same thread.
User was warned for this post
P.S: Haha, nice. Why not just ban me so no one will ever question your rule? sigh, right... Ill stop here.

iirc, it's to delay quick dt's vs his blink stalker build (such as the fortunate observer timing vs incontrol's dt's).
I don't know why he does it when he goes robo though.
Enlighten me.

well lets see...first off ive literally never seen a high level pvp get to void ray colossus. second off, if it did 2 phoenix are 300/200, more than a void ray, while a void ray can shoot ground easily and kills colossus faster than 2 phoenix. third off, thats a simple question, i just answered it. fourth off, you have 9 posts, stop acting like youre always right or you will get banned

In TvZ, whats a good way to deal with people using alot of infestors and just stopping terran in its tracks and killing all of its bio.

WOW... I just joined here and this scares me quite a bit. I was just curious, so I read his threads and saw what's been going on. This could ended up nicely if moderator just said something simple to his question after/before he locked up the thread.
Is this site always like this? hmm...

Are there certain advantages/disadvantages in damage distribution to clumped ground units while using colossi or templar? As in, what situations are templar more favorable and what situations are colossus more favorable?

Listening to the MLG (for the part that was actually up), I remember at some point an explanation given that it delays the Protoss from getting a fast observer. Essentially, I guess it's to delay the Robotics Facility itself, but the reason being the delay of the observer.

If you post in this community you do so under the presumption you understand the requirements for each forum; TL.net prides itself on being a quality forum with informative posts and discussion topics. There are strict guidelines and procedures to ensure that these forums remain as incredible as they are. Another thing is that publicly questioning a moderator usually doesn't go down to well.. There is a great PM function to discuss issues; there is also a "Why Was My Thread Closed" topic in the website feedback section.
All of the above plus the fact the user was warned before being banned justify what happened in my opinion.

Mods are busy. He linked to the appropriate place for the question to be asked. No need for further investment of time Also, yes, it's always a bad idea to dare a mod to ban you.

Yikes, sounds pretty strict to me. But I got the idea. I hope mod doesn't ban us too for discussing this kind of issue here. >.> Who knows...

Since no one has answered my question, here it is again...
Why does my battle net profile say I'm not yet ranked, whereas I have recently been promoted into Master (in Season 2)? Does anyone have the same problem?
I got the emblem and everything--it's just the profile and the SC2 signature that keep saying otherwise...
