If you mean regular openers, most maps can be divided by matchup into 2 categories PvZ FFE or not FFE friendly maps, some pros argue that you can always FFE but it's a lot riskier (look at the MLG finals).
PvP Ramp natural/ VS Low Ground nat, with the exception of Tal Darim which HEAVILY favors the 4 gate.
PvT similar to PvP, but it's not as severe, since you can pretty much always either 1 gate expand or nexus first.
Hope this helps

If this is the wrong place to ask I'm deeply sorry, but is there a massive recommended games / VODs thread for starcraft 2 games? I remember something being started up a couple of months ago, but I tried to search for it to no avail.

It depends on how roach or ling heavy your composition is. If you are playing with mostly zerglings, then get melee and carapace. If you are playing mostly roach heavy, get range carapace. Both will help broodlords when you get them, because the first attack from the broodlord is helped by range attack upgrades while each hit from the broodling after that is helped by melee upgrades. Once you get 3/3 upgrades, then you can still get the melee upgrade to further help your broodlords. Well I only use roaches minutes 10-19. From there I transition into 50 lings, brood lords, infestor and corruptor. Then I would probably recommend getting Melee Upgrades and Carapace Upgrades. When you are using your roaches, you will be vulnerable to builds that involve quick upgrades, but once you transition into ling/infestor/broodlord your army will all be upgraded.

I am starting to play more zerg and i am having major difficulties
What are the basic timings for tech essentials, such as when to get lair? when to throw down extra gasses? when to put back drones into the intial extractor? I dont know when to do these basic aspects of play and it gives me a lot of doubt.
My minerals are always floating so high whenever i have my initial 2 hatches saturated (usually in minerals, as i said i don't know when to get the extra gasses) and even though I'm injecting and spending larva most of the time I still fly high in mins. Where can I spend all this extra money? I really don't know where to put it
As I'm just starting zerg, should I make it a habit to make new tech buildings according to what my opponent is doing, or rather just having a set of units i will use for each matchup (ling bling muta for zvt, roach hydra for zvp etc)?

What should be my response to scouting my opponent in a ZvZ at ~9m and seeing his Infestation Pit pop right then? My gut reaction was to try to bust him with roaches before the Infestors popped, but I wasn't anywhere near being able to field a good army in 90s, which is probably about the size of the timing window there. What I ended up doing was trying to max on pure roaches and use superior numbers + upgrades, but he attacked earlier with a few less roaches + the infestors vs my upgrade advantage (+2 vs +1 for him) and I just barely lost. But neither of those options feels particularly good to me.

He's devoting money to tech. Devote your own money to tech/ economy during this time. He isn't going to attack for at least 90s, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think you aren't going to attack in the next 90s. I would feign aggression with lings and devote all resources to tech and econ. During the last 30s, I would build army units, to help defend his timing window where he has stronger tech than you.

are there any match making sc2 channel specifically for diamond zvp, zvt, zvz on battle.net

How can protoss achieve relatively fast 3rd against Zerg? 5 gates blink with weapons upgrades?

what are solid builds for each matchup in PvX that i should learn and perfect?

How do you that inject trick? Or rather, what is the best way to inject? When I off race I still do it old school; hotkey each queen, v click sorta deal.

PvT 1 gate expand (against 1/1/1 or gasless expand) 3 gate expand with sentries (against agressive 1 base plays like 2/3rax, you can defend easily with this build and then contain him while you expand)
PvP Defensive 4gate with 2 gas and more chrono's on probes than him (if he 4gates you)
Robo into blink with obs is really really solid, you can force him to play defensive while you expand.
PvZ Forge FE is really a must-learn for any toss. It works on almost any map against almost all zerg openings and you have so many options with it, make sure you scout for allins though.
1/3 gate Sentry expand, it's a bit outdated now but it's still worth learning, it's the next best alternative to forge FE.
There's obviously loads of other builds you can use, like phoenix in PvP and voidray/dts in PvZ, but I think the builds I listed are generally pretty solid and safe macro builds that don't rely on luck or stealth. You should perfect if you want to get better.

There are a few tricks but I'll post the one I'm assuming you're referring to. There are others though if this one doesn't work for you.
First have all your injecting Queens on one hotkey. Select all your Queens and hold the inject button (default V) and tap the Base Camera key (default backspace) to center your camera over a Hatchery and move your mouse over it and click to inject. After that your mouse is positioned so you can base camera left click (while still holding v) and have your mouse over the next Hatchery with inject ready to be used so every base camera left click will inject another base.
I strongly advise rebinding the backspace key though, personally I use middle mouse (so I hold V and middle mouse/left mouse as fast as I can click) but finding a keyboard key will work just as well, if not better I suppose.
Edit: Fixed some typos.

Yeah, agreed. Whatever works for you is good I guess. I remapped backspace to W and it works great for me. Super easy to inject to multiple hatcheries in no time. Just make sure to have a queen at every hatchery or they'll start running to the ones that doesn't have a queen present.

question, if i play team games 2v2 3v3 4v4 and quit after a few seconds and my team wins why dont i get a win like everybody else? I mean my overall wins increased but didnt increase my random wins and my race win. ty

Can anyone give me some tips for macroing while not looking at my base as terran? 1) I don't want to que 2) I can't see the progress of my units without looking at my base 3) Waiting to start a new unit until I see that the rax aren't producing is also inefficient

I think 32 drones on 2 bases = enough mins for constant droning So if you're at 36 supply (2 queens) you need to add gas / tech or macro hatch or you will float mins. If you are floating minerals well then take your gases earlier :D

My problem is that I don't know where to find effective and current build orders.
I tried Liquidpedia under the Zerg Strategy section and originally picked Spanishiwa's Ice Fisher build. But after using it for a week or so I was told by several people that that build is way outdated and I should move on to something better.
So my question is: Where can I find the most current and effective build orders? Is there a running thread somewhere? Or a website that keeps them up to date?
Thanks in advance, Simian
Anyone able to help me out with this? Never got an answer.

I want to preface this by saying that zerg doesn't have set "build orders" per se, they kind of just have openings. After that, anything can happen. Anyways....
There isn't really a good "place" to find all of them. The best way to know good strategies is by watching lots of starcraft. Go pick a Zerg's stream, like Violet, Haypro, IdrA, etc. Watch them play a game, then try to sum up what they did in a few sentences. Also, watch tournaments and whatnot, you'll see many good strategies.
If what you're looking for is simply one build, I'm not sure how viable that is, as much as people say it, at least not for Zerg. I don't care how good you are, roaches won't work against a marine tank player, hydra ling wont work against collosus, and lings wont work against blue flame hellions or upgraded zealots. You need to be able to adapt.
That said, you can narrow it down to a couple strategies per matchup. Against terran, go either ling/bane/muta OR roach infestor (against marine/tank or mech respectively). Same idea with protoss. You won't be able to stop a 4 gate with your quick 3rd build.
TL;DR: There isn't a place for updated builds, watch pros to get ideas and execute your copied strategies based on what your opponent is doing.
Also, the best way to get better is to play more, and have more experience as to what beats what, and how you respond to whatever your opponent throws at you.

Basically what you want is someone else to do your macro for you then... There is no way to know when your units are about to finish unless you have each production facility on a seperate hotkey and can tap like Losira.
The best thing to do is realize that to have good macro, you do HAVE to occasionally que, but only que the second unit. In late game TvZ, you can't constanly be checking each of your 12 barracks and 3 factories to see if your marine is almost done so you can start another one. The best thing is to keep an eye on the little white dot on the barracks (in your wire frame at the bottom that I can't remember the name of), and try to have each stucture have 1 to 2 units at the most.
Unless you're mid masters or better, there's better things you can be focusing on then having a second marine qued.

Honestly, this post makes you sound like you just join games and quit for free wins, then qq because they don't count. I sincerely hope this isn't the case...
