But if you don't include the MULES, a typical base will get full saturation on minerals with 3 miners per patch. Assuming a 8-mineral patch base: Saturation: 24SCV + 6 for gas That means: 30 SCV 2 supply depo 2 refinery According to the build order calculator: 10 Supply Depot 18 supply depot 26 Supply Depot 26 Refinery 26 Refinery 29 SCV Will finish on 6:48

Just select your marines and move them a hex away and they will stop trying to follow it. There is probably better ways, but that's how I do it. Um...hit 'S' to stop and cancel the follow order after loading and before grouping is much more faster...

I know they are no cost effective but if they are really cheeper than terran/protoss units, then they should not need more money and thus not more bases. They need larva, i know that, but why they just dont build them inside existing base? They don't need 1 more base. See lalush's analysis on macro for more information.

I noticed this in about every stream I watched on jtv. to chornoboost the nexus, throw down mules on the minerals, or inject larvae. in BW it was so you could send your workers to mine (no automine) so there might be some old habits showing themselves.

MrBitter (Flabulous) is known for his 12 weeks with the pros series. In one of his last games in the "how to stop 4 gate" episode, his opponent went 4 gate with blink, and he holds it off on Xel'Naga, which is by far one of the worst maps for blink abusing a zerg. http://mrbitter.blip.tv/file/4711503/ The game I mentioned starts at 1:47:00. I'd recommend watching the entire episode, and I'd strongly recommend all of his other episodes as well. He puts a lot of content up on blip at http://mrbitter.blip.tv and lots of his own coaching of lower level players goes up on youtube, at http://www.youtube.com/user/MrBitterTV I love this guy, just in case you couldn't tell. ![]()

Do not click anywhere else until next: Next, click on one of the dropships, as though as telling them to drop units on top of the dropships. The dropship that's clicked on will begin to unlaod all its units while moving. Repeat the 'D', click on dropship, 'D', click on dropship until all your dropship have been given a click.

And besides that, it revolves only around mineral income. Zerg just needs gas so much. After 3 third base, zerg expands purely because of gas.

A Phalanx is an ancient army formation of spearmen. phalanx is actually correct. you're thinking phalanges which is just more than one phalanx. but you're right that it is *also* a formation of soldiers with interlocking shields... back to the point, this post made my frickin' day. i had NEVER thought to use that part of my pinky and i've always hated using the pad of my pinky so i used to use my thumb. definitely gonna try out that pinky knuckle now ... What they do is fly over an area that they are going to drop on and they begin droping one troop after another as the medivac is still flying. How do they do that? not only has that been answered six times this thread, but one of those six was four posts above yours
