Has the optimal 4gate BO changed post patch? (And could someone point me to a post? Search returns garbage and I'm always a little afraid to use liquipedia because of up-to-date issues)

How far out does a terran scan reach? Farther then the animation, but how much? I always wonder if a slightly off scan saw a tech structure of some kind.

Yes. Options -> Hotkeys and change the unit that has the command you're interested in changing (e.g., in your particular case, you need to change the drone build infestation pit command from 'i' to 'f').

Just played incontrol and threw a general question at him and saw this thread now so gonna ask it here too

struggling a lot with macro, cant keep minerals low, how do people approach that issue of actually trying to improve that. I am already at a point where i ask my question if i am to retarded or something :3

currently 14xx master league player but for example few games ago i had some 30 min game and i had "unspend minerals at 3k -_-

For this kind of help you need to post replays, because if you are in masters then you propably know all the obvious shit people can tell you without replays.

I'm guessing you play Terran... in that case, make more production facilities, expand often (especially in late games), and stock orbital commands. You can start saccing SCVs later in the game because you will have a ton of mules, so basically you will only need SCVs to build structures, repair, and harvest gas. If you are going mech, then getting "gas-only" expansions is also a good idea.

If it's like strait from a building or egg, like a rally for an unmade unit, then the max is 4 I think. I think the max cue for anything else is like 12 or 16

can someone give me a tip on microing helions vs speedlings? i always seem to get surronded or i just cant kill them effectively.
bring back black scvs...they had 60 life and worked harder

In Mr. Bitters 12 weeks with ProS he had on Spanishiwa. He talked about getting burrow for roaches in case the enemy had infestors but did not elaborate. What is the importantace of this, just to heal hp or is their some micro trick to it?

Playing Zerg, BlinG drops are a common tactic. What is the best Way to drop an army -say protoss death ball- just using the drop hotkey and clicking on the map, shift clicking drop as you move, or click drop on an Enemy unit?

Do you need an observer to see an enemy nuke's red dot?

Dunno if it's "optimal" since many players are doing their own variations, but the simplest modification is to just spend an extra chronoboost on your warpgate tech instead of your first stalker.

So basically it's 12 gate, 2 chronos on nexus, rest chronos on warpgate tech. After core is started the order is zealot, stalker, 3x gateway, 2nd stalker, proxy pylon.

You can see the red dot w/o detection. Detection only lets you see the cloaked ghost, it doesn't make the nuclear launch target easier to see either (only the launching player gets the big red targetting circle).

Against speedlings, you want to stay off of creep and stop to shoot if you have a large number of hellions, or blue flame, or you can back into a corner where they can only come at you in a line. When you shoot, as soon as the flame comes out, right-click to start the hellions moving again. If you get surrounded, you should just attack because you can't get away. If a surround is inevitable, get up against a wall right before it happens to reduce surface area, or into a dead end to maximize splash.

If you have enough hellions or he has few enough speedlings, you can move hellions onto the creep.
When you stare into the iCCup, the iCCup stares back.
