First MotM in 2015, and since another TLMC and Mapximum competition is around the corner, it is no surprise to see many people reworking their most successful maps. It was a pretty contested month, with 2 maps tied for the third place even!
These were the results:

1st Place went to Neo Emerald Plaza by IeZaeL, which received 34% of all votes! He will receive 10$ in prize money!

2nd Place goes to Cactus Valley RE by Ferisii, which received 26% of all votes!

Next up are Graveside RE by eTcetRa and Trapped Under Ice by
Meerel, which both tied for 3rd Place with 15% of the votes each!

With that said, All map posted after the 25th of January will be considered for MotM February 2015!
All you need to do is to create a map thread following the forum guidelines (please include a top down overview) AND publish the map on battle.net until the 25th of February.

Once again we are taking donations! As usual, 50% of the donations will be used for the competition prize pool. The other 50% will be saved up to fund future MotM events.
Yes, I am aware that those have been postponed for some time  The previous plans for a MotM tourney didn't work out and I'll have to find another way once I find the time.

I agree. Though, I don't mind Graveside either.
The winning map here disappoints me. I think it has good size, but the 3rd base options are pretty shitty. It sort of seems like an inferior version of Bel'shir vestige.
And I also like Cassiopeia. The quality of that map is a fair bit higher than some of the others. The only questionable things are the rocks by the 3rd and the lack of space in the map. Seems a bit small.

Cactus Valley seemed like the best of the bunch but NEP is also sick so it's all good.
Either way, they kick the crap out of anything I see in the current map pool and should be added asap.

I'll be honest and say none of them would be that great of a competitive map. They are still better than Blizzards', but if we're going out of our way to convince Blizz to remove their shitty stuff and replace it with something else, we might as well pick the best maps...

trapped under ice looks like the only balanced one, but who knows in game is always different. grats to the winner!

Graveside seems really promising IMAO.
Interesting styles could came out of it. Theorically safe to go for macro and fast 3 base, but allowing cheeses, drops and exploitings in your face. However an stablished 3-base would be followed by possible boring turtling and lategame clashes.
I would like to see pro games on it.

Except it is much smaller, is rotational, has slightly harder thirds, a completely different center, and is much more interesting gameplay-wise.
