@fatam: What are the distances? It seems quite short main ramp to main ramp. And nat2nat of course, even moreso with the rocks gone. I feel as though you're expanding towards the opponent too soon -- by the 4th base at the latest. And the smallness of the map amplifies this. For example in the SE quadrant the two highground bases can't really be claimed steadily by either player at the same time. There could be some improvements on both halves of the map by changing ramp directions and such to make it a little harder to get between sides.

I think that getting a fourth is way way too hard, and I'm no fan of the huge airspace behing the main. Apart from that it looks sexy though. For the names, Hepatic Clearance, Blooming Garden, Distress Not, Distressed Note, Adverse Effect, Ghost Crows, Undergrowth,...

I just looked up that map and I can sort of see the resemblance, but it's mostly inspired by Fighting Spirit. Hopefully this map makes for a more interactive and aggressive play style.
I also have no idea what you mean by double-sided. Like minerals on both sides of the core structure?

This is what I think for it, just some ideas. With rocks it makes the 3rd much safer when expanding CCW, more in line with the CW direction. Also maybe nudge the bridge closer to the CCW 3rd.

The doublesided thing is just kind of for fun, probably not a good addition. It kind of favors the CW spawn. If you made the CCW 3rd even easier, this could balance it out and add some interesting light asymmetry to the spawn directions. It does make the center area even more important to fight over though (since you can shoot that mineral line freely from middle).

This map is like one part Luna, one part Fighting Spirit, add a dash of Entombed Valley. I also think you should continue cooking up that middle, but not quite sure how.

Actually maybe if you put the middle bases at 12/3/6/9 instead. Or maybe just at 3 and 9. In other words, add some more Luna to the recipe.

Thanks for the feedback! Was definitely thinking about making the CCW 3rd closer by ground, as well as rocks on the bridge, but never considered what you suggested(?) for the forward 3rd. I feel like it would be better as a no-gas base on the outside, with the 2 gas on the inside, but i have no idea

Didn't want those bases to be the ideal 3rds, since they are very close (and maybe favor T/Z?).

Double sided bases was kinda weird, idk. Will try to keep experimenting. Didn't think it would work out all-spawns but maybe it might.

I feel like the expansion pattern isn't very smooth, but maybe it is intended? (what I mean is that if you take the normal third, your fourth is very far away ; and that if the two thirds are very close to each other which could be an issue in ZvT). I like it though.

oooh lez that's pretty cool. imo it should be bigger though so the 3rd bases can be taken same direction with a little more stability (because that will sometimes be the 4th vs 3rd situation as well). also the ramp to the lowground near the main cliff should probably be wider / that area wider. very ff / mine friendly in a dangerous forward spot

@sweden: that's looking good, I bet it'd be fun in lotv (and probably okay in hots too)
