Lol....the 28 mission ghost snipe is pretty nice for someone who plays CS 1.6...
Regarding the imbalance, hilarious to see Zergs defending themselves....

Tyty for people who said to use hold position on Medivac. I spent like 1.5h yesterday for others and 2-2.5h for the last one with no success. I even tried the hold position technique, but I guess I misclicked and figured it only works with warp prism or something. Passed lvl30 in 10 minutes now.

I did it....mission 30 is not that hard to be honest.

but I did not get the portrait..what have I done wrong? Is it because I played single player? WOW lol....I cannot play multiplayer, I have lag..... T_T

EDIT: It says complete any 25 in SC master....well, I did 30 in single player.

Perhaps thats why I didnt get it

Sigh...I can never do get this since I have lag.... :'(

I keep getting random error messages all over the screen when I try to play it (beginning with paramater then a list of letters and numbers..)

So I can't play this map properly at all... Can anyone help with this?

I don't like this map. A fair amount of luck-based levels and some that aren't really a good simulation of real-game situations that at worst will teach you bad habits.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

You could try deleting the local map cache. It looks like the map file is corrupted.

C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II\Maps\Cache <- delete everything in that folder

warning: If you delete everything in that folder, SC2 will have to re-download all maps the first time you play them after the deletion.

Did no one ever play micro race by Morrow? Stuff like the banshee level (27) was way harder in that, because you started with half health and the screen size was way way smaller.

I was kind of expecting this to be much more difficult than it is. All 30 rounds completed in 1:40, and spent about 40 of that on 27 and 30 alone; I'm mid-Plat at best. /shrug

Took me 3 tries to do level 27. As long as you play Terran at a decent level, you should be able to complete 27 easily. Honestly, when people say Terran requires a lot of micro, they aren't lying.

Edit: again, in the morrow's micro race map, the dropship level is actually one of the earlier ones instead of the last level, except you have 1 medivac and 2 tanks vs 5 stalkers, and is much harder as you have to micro 2 tanks instead of one.

Uhh, the lagg seriously makes this unfun. I'm way too used to d clicking the medivac the instant i click the tank in but it simply doesn't pick up the tank fast enough.

I had to spend so much time on that challenge alone because the command in step 4 simply didn't register because of what I assume was latency. I was getting really frustrated but yes, that's the best way to do it.

Took me 2 hours to finish every level and achievement and loved every second of it. I hope blizzard makes more of these

I just finished the achievements today and I really think that this was a great map. I wonder why blizz didn't realease it sooner but late>never I guess. I had alot of fun even though I got frustrated a few times.

This one was cute, but for more giggle-worthy clever and useful scenarios I prefer Darglein's Micro Trainer. Those were just nuts and seemed a lot less luck based.

Does anyone else think there should be a different portrait? It shows a bunch of banelings I'm guessing, but I don't even play zerg and it doesn't represent micro.

For instance the one where you run away from zealots with a few marines, which is exploiting the AI in a way that would never happen in a real game. Almost all of the challenges are like that, they will only teach you to beat a computer.

^ Not really... people will often times a-move their units because they have to focus on something else. Drop marines in a toss base, he warps in zealots (maybe speed wasn't finished yet, maybe it was), then he focuses back onto the main battle. You already queued up vikings to FF, and ghosts laid down EMPs, and the drop is at his new expo that you need to shut down. There's a choke made of pylons nearby, you just have to micro to there.

These kinds of things come up all the time in the game.

Anyways I thought it was way too easy, kind of dissapointed.

You have to get into a sort of 'groove', but basically you should be matching the speed of the marines walking. Only time you stop shoot-scooting is when you have to turn.

Really miss the old BW "Impossible(Scenarios)" type of maps. They were really fun to play when you had a skilled party to go at it. Really hope somebody is bringing those back to life in SC2.
