Yeager183's Public Profile:
Steve "awakeN" Yeager
AKA: Corazair, Severium, Ariox
I was introduced to competitive gaming after sustaining a severe soccer injury. Most of this gaming was within the realm of Counter-Strike 1.6, and I really got into it after joining a Knoxville, TN LAN team named KNOX. I eventually moved on to become part of the rosters for TeamUKZ (Unknown Killerz; known for their Day of Defeat accomplishments) and HARDCLAN. In the summer of 2008, I formed Asperity Gaming with long-time teammate and friend, Nick "SainT" Cantey. During the CGS, I got into eSports journalism as the main administrator of the official CGS Facebook page. Since the CGS's downfall, I have had little success in gaining ground in the realm of eSports, being more focused on college and work.
As of August 1, 2012: Asperity Gaming will be competing in both ESEA-Open CS:1.6 and ESEA-Open CS:GO. I will most likely be a backup for the 1.6 team as I find it silly to continue competing in a game with no future at some of the lowest levels of competition. I am a member of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville's CSL team as well as a Match Assistance Administrator for the CSL.
