This is a great video (very nice job =D), but there's a few points I want to make. First of all, you don't have to copy it before letting go of the mouse. It will copy the highlighted green area after you let go, too. Either way works, so it doesn't really matter, but I just wanted to clarify. Also, in the video you always pasted and then rotated. You can hit ctrl+v, then before you click anywhere go to edit>rotate>180degrees and then click and it will already be rotated. This really helps when flipping the map around because you can line it up exactly and then click and you won't have any of those lines in the center like in the tut. Overall, very nice tut though. Very easy to follow and great for an aspiring mapper. =D

This really streamlines your workflow when you have to do a map in sections because of shifted symmetry or territories that don't fit into rectangle selections, you can quickly ctrl+v, do your manipulation, click to place, ctrl+z if it wasn't right, repeat. If I'm not mistaken, number pad / and * are for rotate, and , and . are for flip

Copy it. 2 Click "alt"+"," and "alt"+"." to rotate it and then paste and click at the approximately right spot. 3. Now keep the mouse cursor in exactly the spot you just pasted and ctrl+z to undo the pasting. 4. Paste, adjust your mouse cursor position a little bit in the right direction and click. 5. Do 1-4 until everything is right. It's just a lot of trial and error, but you just need to click some buttons fast and then this is really really fast and easy ![]() The more annoying thing is replacing all those dumb broken ramps afterwards ![]()
