At the moment, I "bypass" the wonky AI by playing on a Big Game Hunters remake, so they don't just run out of resources and do nothing. The maps with 4 spawn locations are listed as 2-player maps. That's fine unless you want to play with more than two people. A group of friends and I wanted to do SC2BW FFA's and we were disappointed. =( Hopefully this wouldn't be too difficult to fix, but it would be great if you could look into it! Thanks! | ||

On another note i've put SC2BW back on the arcade using the fighting spirit map. A known bug is the Dragoon death animation missing textures. I swear to god I've fixed this 100 times and the Starcraft 2 Map Editor just doesn't care. it's like it's not comparing changes properly and just not updating parts of the mod. I don't know. It's driving me INSANE. Like. I REMOVED the animation COMPLETELY and replaced it with just the default "Protoss Medium Unit Death" and it doesn't care. still uses the textureless death model.........sdlfhsduilfhsjkdhfksjdhf. But anyway. With LotV coming around it usually means Blizzard will make another pass at the map editor and i'm hoping for some good changes. *EDIT* It's also missing game variants for turning BW mode on/off but i'll fix that soonish. | ||

Also for however little my vote counts, I think that new model is fine. I'd say official models are better just on principle. (The old one's lighting or texture was good, but didn't feel quiiiite right. I can only imagine how difficult modeling/texturing is.) Also the great axes are for an alternate zealot form that does splash damage. (Supposedly it's an alternative, not an upgrade, to the standard zealot, but they only showed it doing way better.) | ||
