One thing I might suggest (and I think other mods do this to) is just to use the immortal death animation (perhaps clipping off the first second or so when it actually looks like an immortal). The immortal's top part explodes, so it really just looks like a dragoon dying. Lalush, the mod can be found under extension mods now, in custom games. In addition, a few maps designed for SC2BW are up as well. Simply search 'SC2BW' under Custom Games, select a map, 'Create Game with Extension Mod,' then select SC2BW as your extension mod and you're ready to go! Love the mod, best of luck! | ||

Generally I think Extension Mods are really great in that they allow the mod to be played on any map hosted on Battle.net, where as using the arcade only allows the mod to be played on whatever map the author has applied the mod to and uploaded. However in this case, since SC2BW is really meant to be played on faithful remakes of BW maps, perhaps there really isn't that much advantage to hosting it as an extension mod anyway. I imagine that it does make Marverk's life easier in that he generally only needs to update the mod, not the maps themselves, so that's a major plus. | ||

- Infested Terrans are unable to use Burrow (they could in Brood War). - Announcers for Terran and Protoss are using default SC2 voices (Zerg is unaffected, for some reason). - Lurkers use their SC2 unit response sounds, which are just "enhanced" versions of the SC2 Hydralisk. - Guardians use Brood Lord unit sounds, and Devourers use Corrupter sounds. I might have to use Terran and Protoss some more to potentially find more in their department, but it's still quite good so far, ![]() Edit 1: More sound mismatches for Zerg. If you need assistance with exporting Brood War sounds into this Extension Mod, I might be able to lend a hand. | ||

I've made a bunch of changes including Starbow carrier stuff (so interceptors wont dock while carrier is moving). I'm concerned with bugs since I've been working on this version off and on for like what. 6 months? longer? I don't even remember what half the stuff I've changed, really need to get some of sort version control going like svn or git. Yea the mod not being playable on WoL is a pain i know, my original plan was the just rip assets from HotS and have them in the mod. so you had those assets but didn't need HotS. Buuuuuuuut then i got concerned Blizzard would not look kindly on this and would probably remove SC2BW. Theres not much i can do. Honestly Blizzard should just make these assets available no matter what version of the game you have. Sounds I'm not too concerned with right now. Can fix those anytime. But gameplay bugs I'm in the mood to fix right now. Will look at seeing when i can do an update | ||

Also, feel free to steal our viking attack for your valkyires (you need to increase the damage though). We tested your valkyries and they seemed to act very different form BW Valkyries. We also added "the glide, but can't control while shooting" behavior from BW Valkyrie to our Vikings. Feel free to steal that too. | ||
