I found the micro on this mod really bad, or else i would happily have played it.

My friend (who didn't play sc1) won't play with me because he says it's impossible to stutter step his marines.. I don't play Terran so idc as much haha.

at least i can micro muta just like i did in BW, the zergling and vulture are little bit different, and the unit collision is kind of bad, but sc2bw is a great replicate in other ways.

Just keep working on it. I would much rather play this than StarBow if it worked correctly (replicated BW completely).

I was actually thinking about software going obsolete once hardware gets better and things become unsupported. Granted everyone should go play the original, but there will be a point in time where it'll be extremely difficult to emulate the real SC:BW. If there was a mod in SC2, BW would be able to live on longer. And keep in mind, I'm talking another 20+ years. Not just 'next year' or whatever.

Just keep working on it. I would much rather play this than StarBow if it worked correctly (replicated BW completely).

Not sure what you mean, but myself would probably play this alot if the micro got "fixed". Right now i never play it

I haven't played it since an early version, but from reading comments, it was in regard to the micro.

"Just keep working on it." meaning the developers behind SC2:BW.

Oh, I've played the mod, just never played Terran or Protoss; I'm a dedicated Zerg player (and I can't play T or P for SHIT, XD). Maybe I never noticed because heavy micro was never really part of how I played Starcraft.

If you mean when the stream of Zerglings and/or Hydras stop moving in places, I think that's an intentional AI pathing behaviour to prevent units from travelling in "ball shapes", and becoming easy prey to AoE units (think Siege Tanks in vanilla SC2, and how they melt Zerglings now, compared to Brood War).

In Brood War, a Zergling line typically moved in a single or double line, kind of like a line of ants. Same thing with Hydralisks. In this way, if the moving swarm encountered, say, a Siege Tank line, the first shots would only kill the few in the very front of the line, allowing the ones following behind to continue moving ahead. In most circumstances, a sizable Zergling line would reach the Siege Tanks in large numbers thanks to this pathing behaviour, and overall quick movement speed, then crushing the tanks thanks to their point-blank deadzone while deployed.

I saw a question about the pillar thingies around the brood war nexus and i watched a recent replay on a HOTS map called "habitation station". Right there on the entrances i saw those pillars that resemble the broodwar ones around the nexus. Can 4 of those be applied in some way? here is a pic http://i.imgur.com/Y1lNDdk.jpg

Does any body know why the mode won't show in wings of liberty expansion. Cause it wont show up in the create with mod section.

Hi Lenin,
This mod uses HotS assets, I don't know if that prevents WoL users from being able to use it (I feel like it shouldn't) but it could be the reason...

Hey L3monsta,
Before HotS came out i could play it but now it just wont show up but when i switch to starter edition its there.
Just wondering if its possible to make it playable on WoL?
