Don't know much about that one thought. yep, i used yabot to go over the build several times i tried to get green tea working but that the setup process for that is terrible. what im looking for is a simple custom map that can be easily loaded up and you know you are going to get 4 gated so you can prepare as such, ie, test out your standard XvP build against a 4gate i was thinking of making one myself, but it seems like it would be an obvious map to make, so just wondering if it was already out there in some form?

2. Is there an SC2 map testing program for OSX or online? Specifically for scout/rush distances?

Well that's one of the fun parts that's included in mapmaking: research and test stuff ![]() If you want to know the exact squares, use doodads or textures to paint them down on a map and go wild with testing^^ I know that NullCurrent uses a Mac and he's using the Analyzer, afaik a special edition because of the issues with the new version. I'm sure you can just pm him and he'll send you something that'll work ![]()

Just found this Mimic AI where you can record a build order/army composition and play against that. Not sure how exactly it works but might be worth a try.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. The only thing you can do is import a picture into the editor, put it on top of the terrain and do terrain work according to the picture. The only thing you can import so far is "legacy maps" from BW, although that doesn't work for terrain either. Just go to the terrain layer, don't have anything don't have any tool selected and mark the part of the terrain that you want to copy with your mouse. Ctrl+v and rotate or mirror it as needed (* for rotation clockwise, alt+, or alt+. for mirroring vertically and horizontally, not sure in which order thought^^)

1 - dotted yellow line - is this the buildable area? 2 - can I resize a map after creating it?(not map/camera bounds, but the actual map footprint) 3 - The black 'void' around a map - will this show up in-game if my camera is right next to the edge of it? 4 - does pathfinding usually require a lot of tweaking? do you usually have to manually create

If so, how? | ||

2 - Not sure what you're talking about, what do you mean with the "actual footprint"? 3 - Depends where. On the bottom, no. Left/right, a little. Top, quite a lot. 4 - Not sure about this one either. 5 - If topography means the same as terrain then yes. In fact you can't do it separately.

Here's a new one: I'm trying to test a melee map, but when it loads I get nothing but fog of war and nothing else. Advice?
