If stats are all that mattered, then a robot should just automatically generate the power rank based on winrate/league qualifications. The point is, the most successful player isn't necessarily the best player at the time. Each Power Rank writers has his own unique way of grading the top players that month. Some writers look only at who was performing the best in that particular month, while some tend to consider previous months performances and give great players the benefit of the doubt. The problem with these PR discussions, is everyone criticizes the current PR writer for his decisions without taking into account the standards he or she is using. Plexa quite clearly takes into consideration who he feels is the overall "better" or more impressive player rather than jumping someone up to #2/#3 based on stats alone when they are likely just going to drop out the next month.

See now why you don't all of a sudden put someone like Light above Flash just because he got a couple of more wins in WL? I thought the conditions for him being put as no1 were Light beating KT + 2-0ing both players in his OSL group. Atleast thats what I said. If he got something like a 18-1 streak while looking as a beast while doing it a no.1 spot is alright.

2 and 3 should be empty really. JD sucking and Light failing hard. Also, you know JD is playing bad when his fanbois praise him for a Hite all kill, just sad.

I can't believe so many would put him ahead of flash in the middle of the month. If flash was slumping I could atleast have understood the thought process.

It just seems like TL is flooded with Flash commercial bots. I used to like the guy, but now I just want him to lose so that they'd shut up. I guess that's why all the good players have so many anti-fans.

Sooner or later, the maps will stop being terran havens and Jaedong/Stork/maybe Bisu will emerge again. Once maps go back to normal, PvT will return to its usual imba and Flash won't look so dominant.

Plexa is an MBC Hero fan and hates Oz. You really think he is gonna put Jaedong over Light? I personally think Light played better this month anyway. I'd put Jaedong ahead of Stork for sure though.

Jaedong is playing inconsistent and inconsistent =/= sucking. Sure Jaedong is losing some games here and there, but which player is not (even Flash drops some games). While I have no doubt Flash would win against Light in Bo5 I wouldn't be that sure against Jaedong. Jaedong is a monster player and he proved again and again that he can overcome small slumps like that. I won't be surprised seeing him perform extremely well in the MSL.

Maybe Fantasy, I don't know. Fanta is so fucking good when he remembers it, and he's seemed to of late. His games have been very impressive.

Flash back then: 12-game win streak (11 games in Winners League) into loss in deciding match in WL (against Upmagic), into three straight losses in qualifying groups for both OSL and MSL (Best and Leta); all losses within the span of just two days. Light right now: 11-game win streak (all in WL) into loss in the deciding match of WL (against Flash), dropping out of OSL three days later to Perfectman. Admittedly, Flash's opponents for qualification were much stronger, and he had a hell of a schedule overload, but it seems comparable, at least. Flash was ranked 5th the month following these games, and likewise, I think Light at number 3 is much too generous at this point. edit: oops. Not qualifiers, I meant Ro16/group stages for Flash.

As for the rest of his record, you can give him a CBNC.

Flash did qualify to both OSL and MSL. 2. Flash lost against two A-class gamers. Now, Light failed to qualify to the OSL and he failed to do so against PerfectMan... Good god, how could you beat al those guys in WL and then fial miserably against such a noname.
