FEAR THE DM FOR HE IS POWAFUL Also, they have still yet to realize the first bit of magic gear I gave them is cursed, luls ftw

I still remember my Doppelganger druid. Didn't end up working out so well as a bad guy plot, but it was funny as hell when the good guys were suddenly trying to figure out why random bad shit kept happening after we made camp.

If people were to play "in character", would there be a clear "good guy, bad guy" vibe from characters? Wanted to get into my DBZ character, but rolled piccolo... =P It adds to fun. Most characters in the show are purely out for self interest in some way. Some obviously do more to help others while some only help themselves but its an interesting way for people to have fun with a game. I will be sending out role pm's sometime throughout thursday, but the game wont start until 9pm est time.

My group is currently trying to hide in a city from the city guard. The guard isn't out to kill them, just make sure they don't leave the city walls, all to keep them there until one of (insert unkillable at this level) npc's arrives to basically give them the next bit of their adventure. I think the bit of my dming that is odd to deal with though is the last time i heavily played was in 2nd ed. So my natural instincts are to force 2nd ed rules. I have already had to alter some of the 4th ed ones as well, I disagree with them fundamentally. However i think overall it adds to the experience as it makes things slightly harder to deal with. I still need to properly balance fights however as I almost tpk'd my party in the first encounter. How little did I know that moves that cause people to go prone were so friggen brutal.

"-Ok, 6 down, including the "authoritativ-looking" guy [that used to be our keyphrase when askign if there's a "boss" :p], 2 remaining, what do you want to... - I LOOT THE BOSS - NO I LOOT THE BOSS -Guys there's still monsters around - I CAST PARALYSIS ON *Player-X* TO LOOT FIRST. GIEVE TEH MAGICS" Good thing we started playing european-like D&D. Everyone was forced to pay part of their gold onto one big pile of gold that we ended up using for things the group needed. Pretty much a forced health insurance so removing curses was payed like that :p
