![]() Although I don't know if I'd like to be a replacement in a game like this, it may be too convulted if I end up joining later (and I'd like to be playing from the beginning, at least in my first game here). Although there's something that I want to know about the setup at least (to know as I spectate): The only way for the Angels to die is via lynch right? So does that means that both Town and the Demons have to work together to lynch the Angels? And for the Demons to win, they have to hope the Angels slay the Town Sage and Demon Hunter, or lynch them as well, right? Isn't that too unbalanced for the Demons perhaps?

The conceal ability seems very powerful, as is the corruption ability. Demons look like some sort of third-party masonry and I'm pretty sure they will have to play really really well; they won't be able to rely on town fucking up as it has been happening on many games lately here. However, corruption seems like a great ability to distrust people. Changing their votes last minute would probably cause a big ruckus and even make the DH attack him; Claiming corruption isn't really useful either as that just looks like a mean to have your vote change at any point in time. Does the Town Sage knows if he cleansed someone from corruption? As in, if he targets a player and he was corrupted, does he know that?

That seems kind of slow perhaps. They also have to corrupt a townie and not an angel for it to work, and that corrupted townie doesn't have to be slain that night. Although yeah, if they have enough townies corrupted they can sway the lynch as they want. However, they have to lynch the Angels nonetheless, so they have to work with town on that one.

I very much appreciate replacement players; they are invaluable when a player has an emergency or flakes. Because I value replacement players so much, I have a small incentive program for those who serve as replacement players in my games: Replacements are very important to keep the game as fair as possible when a player flakes. Even though switching one person for another is not ideal, it is much better than having a player modkilled. Since replacement players who follow through are so valuable, any player who is called to serve as a replacement in my game, and fulfills that duty in a satisfactory manner will be given priority access to one future game I host (their choice). This player will either be given a highest-priority invite to the game, or be allowed to join the game even if the player roster is already full (possibly bumping someone off), as long as the game has not already started. You may have noticed that two players accepted into this game: RebirthOfLeGenD and layabout, subbed in as replacement players in my previous games. They received their invites to Purgatory Mafia precisely due to this incentive program.

Can't wait, see you all on the 2nd. Happy new year festivities! <edit> IMO any player should refrain from discussing the game until the game starts(for example, best play for a corrupted player). The reason is that you may and must change your position depending on your role.
