I prepared a basic spreadsheet as a player data base. The idea is to quickly provide filters for every player even in large games. It would work as following: 1) Mark players from the database who particitpate 2) Add missing players with player IDs 3) Add Game ID 4) Sort in order of Name and Participation 5) Copy Paste name and filters6 6) Upload updated Sheet for the next players. That way, we'd quickly have a decent player list and could instantly create filters which would save a lot of work. Possible Addons, would be bans, status as a trusted host, ratings or whatever. Right now, I only created the Filter part (no VB, just basic stuff) as an .xlsx What do you think? Is it worth uploading? Or was something like that already trashed ![]() | ||

I doubt you can choose many "scum" characters from the TV show alone (unless you consider the walkers to be scum, while the "bad" characters (Shane/Merl/etc) to be 3rd party) | ||

Carl Grimes: You win with town. You can survive up to 2 shots the whole game, or maybe even more. Yeah you are unkillable, but you can't vote because you start crying about how your daddy is always leaving you while you stay cozy under shelter and don't get mauled to death by walkers. Jimmy Greene: You win with town. If you don't post nor vote at all throughout the game, scum won't be able to kill you at night because they won't even remember who you are Philip "The Governor" Blake: Each night you can visit a player and shove a tank in their face, effectively killing them. However, to stay alive each cycle you need to murder at least 1 kitten and rape at least 2 walkers. | ||

Ultra Mini Puzzle Mafia: Open setup, 9 players, 6 town, 3 mafia Each player lives in a house of different color and has a different pet, but only know their own house color and pet. At night, mafia chooses 1 house, breaks into it and kills whoever lives there. On death, name, house, pet and alignment are revealed, but not role. Town PRs: Veterinary - At night, you may visit any house and find out both the house owner's name and his pet. Police Detective - At night, you may investigate any house and find out the house owner's name OR his alignment. Doctor - At night, you may visit any house and protect the house owner from a night kill Scum PRs: Imposter Veterinary - At night, you may investigate any house and find out both the owner's name and his pet. The next day he will be told his pet has grown sick. Animal Virologist - At night, you may infiltrate any house. If you guess correctly its pet, the pet will get the flu and the house owner will be roleblocked for the night. Special stuff on Day 1: Town will be told the pet of one scum (ex: the man with the fish is SCUM) Town will elect a mayor, who at the end of the day will choose two people who will have their house color and pet name on the next daypost. His role will end there. I wanted you guys' opinion on this. Is this kind of setup doable? I have no idea if it's balanced, but there's plenty of tweakable stuff, like random mod-revealed stuff at the beggining of each day, less people revealed by mayor, changing some roles to 1-shot, etc. Also, I want the setup to disincentivize people to massclaim their house colors/pets on day 1, but I didn't want to force people to not be able to do it. I'm not sure if the Mafia Roleblocker is enough, though. | ||

a game where information is currencey. It's a complex 30 man closed setup. There are 15 special roles and 15 normal ones, normal players recieve a single piece of information at the start of each day, special ones must use thier night abilities to aquire information, information is classified as a pm recieved from me, there are 6 mafia in the game . Special rules, everyday you must exchange one piece of information with your secret source, everyone is paired with a source, special roles are paired with normal ones. You do not know who your source is and you are not allowed to directley communicate with them unless you can guess which player they are(you get one guess) you communicate with your partner through me otherwise, also during the day you are required to send an anonymous tip to a player of your choosing, if this tip(pm) is not outed in the thread at night you may send that same bit of information to another person, information(pms) are valuable so long as they are not yet common knoledge. You must send out a piece of information and exchange information with your buddy everyday or you will be fired(instadead) During the night you must post a piece of information, that piece can be any one you want but tread carefully so as not to reveal youself, because your source may very well be scum. Players will recieve several pieces of information at the start of the game so that they have some wiggle room, if a player can afford it it's probally best not to post the information you sent out or the information you sent to your partner, but come day three or four you wont really have a choice. | ||

If the Swedish man has a dog for a pet, the Danish man drinks tea, the owner of the green house drinks coffee, and the German smokes Prince, then who has the fish? It would be cool, as long as (like you said) massclaims are not encouraged, and there are more things to do with the information about houses/colors/pets/etc. | ||
