On a related note. I am inclined to believe Annul based off this post alone. He is clearly bread crumbing what he later claims to try to prove his innocence.

While I don't think his 2 for 1 claim holds much weight because mafia wouldn't be able to check/kill in the same night, I also don't see mafia detectives as being a role with a true purpose. So I don't think it exists.

To further elaborate, I can't think of a SINGLE reason a mafia detective, if it even exists would preemptively bread crumb there check. There is almost zero incentive to do so unless he knew what Darmousseh was about to do. Mafia would much rather just hang onto that useless information. As another note, the only time I would see a mafia DT as being useful is in PM games where they can use the power to infiltrate town circles and since there are no PM's in this game, the role serves no purpose and I would thereby infer does not exist.

So we can believe Annul, at least for now.

The thing is there can be so many beneficial mafia roles and a DT isn't one of them. Yes, a DT is better than vanilla but not much better, while a bus driver is an incredible mafia role. So if you want to give mafia power roles a DT is one of the least worthwhile.

I can see how a mafia DT would be helpful when each player's name and role are closely tied together, but seeing as annul did do the whole breadcrumb thing before the 'perfect plan' got started up I'm inclined to believe him for now.
