the winner gets put into the usa/argentina side bracket (argentina quarters, usa semis) while the loser gets put into the france/russia side bracket (france quarters, russia semis) shall we see some tanking?... would be interesting with the whole badminton thing that already happened | ||

Why do you say this? Some of the best players in the NBA were in college a year ago. Sure the average championship college team is no where near as good as the average NBA team. But a group of the best college players in the country is a group of future NBA studs usually. | ||

That's the key word- "future". When they enter the NBA they are no where near where they will be after 1-2 years playing with the pros. Look at the statlines for a lot of the best rookies and they typically jump significantly after their first year. Not just in terms of ability, but also in terms of basketball IQ and being able to play with 4 other players they've never played with before. | ||
