He is a kid...he absolutely destroyed the USA players in the junior world champs last year, a USA team that featured a number of people drafted this year. He'll play well with Toronto, totally different environment.

I can't watch it live while I'm still in China, what happened in the game o.O They were still in the mindset of the game versus Nigeria I reckon, shooting far too much without hitting many at all. Their free throws were terrible and their defense was slack. Lithuania have got to be happy with that, unusual that they lost to France though. USA are going to have to pick up their game if they want to beat Argentina.

Yes, USA team is better by a fair margin and they didn't play their best today. But they almost got burnt and this cocky attitude doesn't change that.

With that being said I'm not even sure if you can really call them cocky. Definitely confident though.

Competing against a country with 100x the population, always been a big fan of Lithuanian basketball. I was at the Semi Final in Sydney 2000 where they went down by two or so to the USA, then they beat them 4 years later. Still competitive now.

What can I say? Great game today. To be fair, we didn't expect to beat the USA team, but the bar where I watched the game went balistic over the course of that game. Even tho you won, we still consider it a pretty big "moral win" for us. I know that USA is better but everyone has bad games. Maybe today was your bad game. We also lost to France which we should have beaten to be honest. That was our bad game. I see a lof of you are saying that it was more "USA losing" than "Lithuania winning" today and maybe that's true. But you don't even imagine what games like those bring to our hearts. We say basketball is our second religion and we've been saying it with a straight face for like 5 years now. We have to remember that basketball itself is very different in Europe and America. I don't want to take anything from the USA team - they are the best in the world after all, but to me it compares with what happened to the dutch in this years euro2012 soccer championship. A team with nothing but international superstars - didn't even pass the group stage. Just saying there's a slight chance for us. So proud of my team. Also:
