and why does it matter if there are high scoring games? its more fun when its in the 70s range and you get a defensive stop and the fans go crazy rather than each team scores and then keeps scoring. There are a lot of college games that are in the 90s and 100s too.

Also a lot of the playoff losses are much more devastating than in college. They spend years training, then they push themselves so hard. In the finals Durant and Ibaka were in tears in the 4th quarter. Durant cried for a week after the finals Lebron's game 6 against the Celtics would have crushed his career if he lost. Some of the nba losses can almost destroy who you are as a person, which is why it means so much for them when they win. http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2011/5/20/2181650/charles-barkley-michael-jordan-2011-nba-playoffs When Barkley realized Michael Jordan was better than him. You know, I'd always thought that I was the best player, to be honest with you. I always thought, Michael Jordan when he started winning, he just had more help than me. So, when I finally came to Phoenix, I had told the late, great Cotton Fitzsimmons, 'Hey dude, I'm the best basketball player in the world. We're going to the Finals.' And he said, 'That's why I traded for you.' ... So Game 2, I'm talking to my daughter. She said, 'Dad? Are y'all gonna win tonight?' I said, 'Baby, your dad is the best basketball player in the world. I'm going to dominate the game tonight.' And I remember... I think I had like 46, 47. I played great. And Michael had 52. And I got home that night, and my daughter was crying, and she said, 'Dad, y'all lost again.' I said, 'Baby, I think Michael Jordan's better than me.' She said, 'Dad, you've never said that before.' I said, 'Baby, I've never felt like that before.'

AT the end of the day those guys are still making millions and college basketball they are trying to prove themselves in order to some day make millions.
