I guess you could stack up on size and just run Pau and Dirk at SF since they have the range, though, and just have the world's most hilariously tall team on the court, though I fear the US team would just dribble circles around this team.

They've got a whole heck of a lot of frontcourt depth, but I'm struggling to find good SG/SF players that could come close to matching up. Both Gasols, Parker, Ginobili, Dirk, Deng, Nash seem like solid bets to make the team, even if there's a lot of age showing there. Maybe throw in Scola or Ibaka, but at this point the C/PF position has a pretty strong rotation. I could see Batum just for much needed SG depth even though he's not a star level player like some of these other guys, same for Gallinari at SF. That's 12 or so but I feel like I'm missing some better options. Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. There are a lot of solid players for PF, C, and PG, but there just aren't many options for SF and especially SG. I would say you could put Hedo Turkoglu in there, even though he usually plays point guard in international play with Turkey. Other options could be Barbosa, Pietrus, Ben Gordon or Sefolosha depending on what the team needs. Bogut deserves a spot at C/PF too imo.

The Russia and GB vs SPN games were also incredible though with those last minute 3s.

Just think about how many players of other nations that are currently at the olympics would even make it to the US roster. One of the Gasols instead of Davis, maybe Deng instead of Iguodala but that's pretty much it. Even Tony Parker would have a hard time making it with the likes of Paul, Williams and Westbrook. I'm not saying Westbrook is a better pointguard than Parker, but he brings so much energy to the team that I would take him anyway when I already have Chris Paul.
