It’s just one game but some things about Broxah stuck out to me. Why was hakuho dipping out of vision several times not communicated? And then after that death he just clammed up and played as risk averse as humanly possible up until the desperation kick attempt at the end.
CoreJJ who’s normally a rock just played really badly, he and DL drafted a bully lane that doesn’t scale and didn’t create an advantage, the only team fight TL won was the only team fight he ulted before someone died.
Hopefully with Broxah arriving in LA Friday this isn’t an indication of their true form, but they’re running out of time to quality for MSi if they care.
On the flip side up until yesterday IMT has been winning in spite of Eika, yesterday was the first game where it felt like he contributed positively so I’m interested in how he plays in game 2. Mid lane in the LCs has been really fucking weird this lately, like last Monday I was legit tilted at the quality of mid lane play that got victories.

I love how Froggen is 1 dimensional, no versatility, no ability to play modern League, continues to play inflexible backline mages while his team collapses like a flan in a cupboard... and yet he will always be sought after.

I really don't understand how Crown got so bad

Meanwhile, Grig is the equivalent of a car where as soon as you drive him off the lot he is now worthless.

Yeah he played that infexible backline mage Ornn yesterday smh if only he could play a modern busted champ. Meanwhile Grig should get 200 more chances of Elise first pick and doing nothing for 20 minutes.

There’s so much I hate about Broken Blade that game but lucky for him Mid dif was too great

C9 looks like the best of EU and NA. Could actually be a contender for Worlds.. depending on how meta evolves and how strong LPL actually is.
|
Cloud 9 looks so utterly dominant. I wish NA wasn’t such a mess. It’s hard to judge if they are genuinely good and can compete internationally or if the weak region they are in is flattering them.
|
TL, this is just painful to watch. Can't believe Xmithie had such an impact that you all become headless chickens after he left..
|
This meta is boring to watch. Not just in NA, everywhere.

ADC Senna with support item is so fucking stupid. -.-*

Why is she barely played like that though? Seemed super strong.

This is the dankest timeline. TSM is the most dominant team in NA history but gets rid of domestic superstar ADC for import after a poor international performance, lose their top spot, and never fully recover. TL is then the new most dominant team in NA history but get rid of domestic superstar jungler for import after a poor international performance, have lost the top spot, and if there is a God, they too will never fully recover.
The King is dead. Long live the King

The King is dead. Long live the King Yup, because of this I am actually pretty happy with the season so far despite the meta being rather lame.
But then again the new king in NA is also an old one with C9 who also ditched a good domestic player for import. And they are probably the team that invested most money this season.
Btw, this pattern of NA teams having too high expectations internationally and then throwing their domestic lead is a really old one. Already happened in season 2 with CLG.

Man, I didn't even think highly of that C9 draft, and I feel like if they fell behind, they'd just be lost. No damage for picks or waveclear for stalling. But it's insane how they were up 3k gold by like, 15 minutes off of just 2 kills. And you can tell the team constantly went after objects. It was like pressure / push lane into dragon into rift herald into towers into dragon and so on and so forth. They just know what to focus on and time everything so precisely.
Meanwhile, you look at the Xmithie's pick on Blaber and IMT just gets nothing off of it. No objectives to push because they just had no pressure in lanes or they were taken already. IMT went for it again later with Xmithie and Eika in top tribrush and wasted like 90 seconds while C9 just pressured mid / bot lane which led to dragon soul. Seriously, C9's macro is just on point right now while they made IMT look clueless. I mean, I guess NA in general just feels like the teams are 5 solo queue players with no overall plan in comparison. Good for C9 & staff for getting such progress out of the team.

Something to keep in mind is that C9 also made a ton of money by basically selling EG their entire roster.

Wasn't TSM NA's best team in S2? Hotshot was somehow already kinda washed by then.

there's no way Dig would actually flex Panth to Grig right?
