GP hits his biggest power spike at lv 13-16, he is not a hypercarry late like Trist, unless you get crazy barrels. He gets picked because he has a solid laning phase against everything, global ult presence, good split push and decent team fighting. But just like this game, he can feel very lackluster late when people don't ignore his barrels.
GG SKT, they looked like the better team, but it isn't an impossible gap that Fnatic can't overcome next game.

It was clear Fnatic is losing ever since the rift herald destroyed their mid tower (maybe even earlier), but I'm glad they didn't just roll over and die.
Broxah was kind of invisible in the early game though. SKT tracked his position very well. Most of the game felt like "something happens only when SKT wants it to happen".

they just showed it on the replay, that 30 minute Lee ult was probably a game winning play. If he doesn't stop all 3 from DPSing in that moment, things could have gone south from there

surprised people thought fnatic did ok. i thought they got outclassed. a couple kills traded at teamfights doesnt mean anything for fnatic, skt was getting what they wanted when they wanted. fnatic never in control with a losing draft

Now that’s what I want to see from SKT
|
I dont think Fnatic lost due to draft though. They were just outplayed. Obviously SKT drafted champions that can deal with Garen/Yumi bullshit, but they did not win because of that

It's interesting you brought up Broxah, because I think you're mostly right. Broxah got red, and he reached lv 3 before Clid did. He also tried to counter jungle a bit, but it really felt like SKT let him do those things. I'm not sure if SKT knew Broxah was in the brush bot when that 4vs3 happened, but it was most likely within SKT's calculations, and they had the TP advantage.
Hope with this game, Garen Yuumi dies for good, it's gotten a hard nerf already and I want to see Rekkles on real carries, even AD Kennen is alright.

Wow I can’t remember Faker ever saying anything in English

Yeah Broxah picked an early champ, got an arguable lead early and did nothing whole game. If you are going to play like that at least pick something that scales

Am sad after Fnatic losing, hopefully watching CG get pummeled makes me feel better.

Is Lucian still something you pick when you know your bot is weaker and don't want to lose the game in the laning phase?

Thank you for reminding me how Huni has fed and trolled on streams these past few weeks, now I really want CG to lose.
