I don't understand how group 4 is the group of death. In general, the team's are closest to each other in skill. If any team has a 3-0 day they should at worst be playing a win and in. Any of those four could get out of that group. IMO, group 1 is the group of death; you have 3 good teams that generally do well at worlds and have a history of being strong; and then you have C9. In group 1, one good team is not making semifinals; in group four, maybe one good team is making semifinals. | ||

I think the prospect of them getting out of the group is laughable. C: Like group A, I think this is pretty standard*. D: This is going off of WE's play in the play-in stage and TSM getting to sit in Korea the whole bootcamp and scrim against any Korean team they can get a hold of. Maybe Misfits can make an upset and topple Flash Wolves. *barring China collapse trend. | ||

I'll possibly change after watching some more games this weekend. Group B,C and D are toss ups for 2nd or third for me atm. Btw, is there a LL group, just like last time? | ||

I'd put (from most justifiable to wildest): G2 second, C9 second (above EDG), IMT last, FNC second Misfits second (tiebreakers due to some multi-way tie clusterfuck) , | ||
