Man I don't remember last time I was so into a League match as during FNC vs SKT. Guess I should just stop pretending I care about regions other than EU :p
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.

Lol that series made me realize I can only care about LoL when Taiwan is playing, it had the big story line and hype but I could not bring myself to give a fuck.

Personal thoughts on SKT vs EDG:

Game in group stages went in SKT's favor pretty hard, but I think that was more about the form of the teams on the first day. Seems like EDG started off weak and started snowballing from day 2, whereas SKT started strong and ended up looking shaky as hell in day 2/3. Faker is having a pretty crap tournament, at least by his standards. Marin looked like a god on day 1, and has since been getting caught out over and over.

I'm expecting either an EDG stomp or a very close win by SKT. I don't see a stomp by SKT happening.

the amount of skillshots wolf missed and the number of times he wandered off to die alone made it seem like he was a sheep in wolf's clothing.

seriously though individual skill wise the top and bot of skt are pretty even with edg allowing for variance as usual. skt players just seem to be underperforming. it might be a conditioning problem.

jungle's champ pool is skt's biggest problem right now, while for edg pawn's champ pool is pretty nonideal vs ezhoon.

faker is so frustrating sometimes why would you go no armor and no armband vs a zed that popped 3 longswords asap. it's unconscionable lol

Wolf is kinda inconsistent, he sometimes looks like a god on alistar/thresh and complete garbage other times.

Also don't understand how MaRin can be so good and bad at the same time. He can make some ridiculous plays at one moment and then the stupidest decision the next.

Most of SKT's bad early game was due to members of SKT not being able to keep up with the aggression (late flashes, bad commitments etc)
I think EDG is a much better/easier opponent for SKT's style though

they need to take the initiative, when they are reactive they will ofc get caught out. having vision and understanding of how to crack the opponent are preconditions for confident aggression though, so they are pretty dependent on bengi.

I guess it's all going to be about Bengi being exposed or not.
Good move from SKT to start with Ezhoon, I'm hoping for good series.
Going all the way with SKT since it was my first prediction before the games even started.

Don't know what should EDG bans be targeted at. IMO they should run like Rek'Sai/Rumble/Cass bans? Ezhoon not gonna get exposed by Pawn so we're pretty good there. If Koro and Meiko plays their A game and Clearlove doesn't go full yolo this shit can be hard.

I think it's harder with Easyhoon right now. He plays late scaling champs (Vlad, azir, cassio) extremely well, and he also is capable of playing Lulu. With one of those late champions, I'm pretty confident SKT can win late game.

So I'd say he'll get one of those champions considering I fully expect EDG to target Bengis champion pool.

There incredibley hard to ban out. Lulu is nearly a perma ban right now, Easyhoon has played exceptional on Azir, Cassio, and you also want to target bengis champ pool, but then kalista/urgot are available..

It really depends on Deft performance. Honestly, Deft's performance was shit vs AHQ.

I don't understand what logic SKT uses in starting Faker or Easyhoon.

According to Huni, febiven had more favorable scrim results against Easyhoon rather than Faker. I guess that's how they sort it out

If SKT win this tournament, I doubt a foreign team will ever win an international event* again. This event is not only at a time where Korea has been at its weakest in years due to the loss of talent into other regions, but also heavily stacked against SKT in terms of the amount of preparation and travel time they had.

*with a decent format and the best teams

Man it feels so good to see TSM get buttfucked after all the trashtalk and the "we're the best, we'll win".
If they don't change their mentality they will never win anything outside of LCS.
