CJ should seriously contemplate looking into yolo queue now, or pull an atn and #FreeApdo.

picking blitzcrank game 3 with vs. what was already on the board was basically "well we don't have anymore ideas" as soon as they picked it I knew they were broken even with madlife being as good as he is nidalee and Ezreal aren't going to be scared of that.

- Dade needs a haircut - Even godlife's god hand can't carry frost - It must feel weird to be one if not the best toplaner in the world and to be on a losing team

Just as you I'd love to see SKT take it again although their win record (and Faker's performance) tells us more than enough about LoL either way, even if they got knocked out by KTB now. Still rooting for them.

Still rooting for them. There certainly is something to said about their consistency. They've proven that although the game is ever changing to be a true top team you need to adjust to the meta and play accordingly. A repeat win would cement them as arguably the most dominate team of all time (otherwise I assume it would be the old Azubu Frost but even they had their ups and downs.)

Edit. And TPA + Frost not even making it back was a black eye, in my mind at least.

It made it feel like results were too random and that tournaments were not totally determined by the skill of the players, but by a serious "luck" factor within the game. Oh I actually agree with that. I still like SC2 a lot and I often feel dickish when I say that, but it was somewhat surprising that with the impact of KeSPA teams we haven't seen someone consistently dominate at the highest level (so mainly in Korea), when at the same time it can be argued that the overall level of competition is lesser than in BW simply due to the weakened infrastructure SC2 has to work with. Back in WoL we had guys like MVP and MC, in HotS Bogus looked like the next bonjwa before he fell off pretty rapidly, but we've not seen a consistent god of SC2 in a long time, which in my opinion would help out SC2 quite a bit, especially if it happened to be someone already popular. It's a bit regrettable. Oh, somewhat ironically Jeadong comes close in levels of consistency, but only as a silver surfer in foreign tournaments. ![]() ... but to come back to the original point. Even though SC2 is missing that I don't think it lacks legitimacy as a competitive game in the eyes of most people, except to some of the old BW folks (and a part of the Korean audience? SC2 had to take a lot of criticism from Korean SC1 fans).
