Really sad that Valve is reacting poorly to the situation. I remembered 3 years ago when Valve started Dota2. It took nearly 2 years to get out of beta while LOL took over the moba scene. Even now Valve is slowing ramping up their server capacity. They're too used to taking their own sweet time. That said, at least Valve is smart enough to recognize the potential of moba unlike Blizzard (who ignored their own WC3 Dota for the past 10 years). they can't expand into china in the usual manner. they have to rely on a local distributor. it just so happens that the company localizing lol is doing a much better job. That's right. Any company trying to go in alone in China will lose millions if not billions - most of which lost due to market collusion. LoL is still on the way up in China, and even if China has had their servers longer than Korea, I'd definitely consider China a much more nascent scene than Korea due to infrastructure, technology and the mainstream's unfamiliarity with competitive gaming.
Chinese LoL will take over the world in 2016 if LoL is still alive lol.

Glad that the assumed Championship skin lineup collides with last years although shen ori and Ezreal are still common picks nowadays but shen Ori were banned.

If China will ever change there infrastructure, it's not something that can change all the sudden, let's be honest we have been reading for years china COULD BE the next big thing.
imo 2016 is even to early, a complete infrastructure change country wide would be needed. To much Monopoly abuse exploit etc. I would not like to be a pro chinese player.

2Lysanias I'm rly sorry but what does "mm" and "ccu" mean? Like 4mm = 4 million?

Stomps happen. It would have been better if the Najin Sword vs Skt games were the finals instead (I didn't watch those but I'm guessing). If LoL made the game like Tennis where a team has to win by a certain amount of points then you'd have closer but potentially longer games. You can also have Bo5's that get extended to a Bo7 if the winning team is only winning 3-2. It wouldn't have helped for this series because it was such a stomp but it can help for other series. There are many other solutions too, all with downsides.
My thoughts on the finals
- Keyboard guys sucked. It seemed so fake the way they bobbed their heads. I don't respect electric keyboard players even though I don't play any instruments.
- The pregame was long as fk. Longer than the actual games maybe. I left before the closing ceremonies started.
- The violinist in the pregames was hot.
- I actually don't think Jax was that big of a deal. He isn't that great in a 2v1 but that was fine because he got babysat. I feel like Jax should have gotten more HP as he was dying very frequently while doing nothing in the early fights. Obviously, his splitpushing was very good, but most top laners can split push. Jax didn't get to make use of his strong dueling capabilities against anyone.
- The analysts suck. Almost all of the analysts, and certainly all of the professionals picked Royal, some a 3-0. Hype Train muthf**ckers.
- Resolution of the video was not that good in the theatre. I liked the feel of the series but I would have preferred if one of my friends had gone with me

- The caliber of games was very high. I saw much more than I expected from a NA game. SKT and Royal were both able to consistently make next level plays.
- Faker was overhyped or he got focused too hard. He basically won teamfights in the first game as Gragas just by baiting the enemy team into diving him and then letting his team clean up.

Hey hey! Where can I find some highlights from the tournament? Close games, comebacks, good team fights, clutch kills, clutch escapes, some nice skil shots, retardedly lucky plays Can anyone point me somewhere? On reddit there's only interviews and picks/bans discussion. Cheers.

Man I wonder if we will ever get a proper ending ceremony in e-sports. It's already tradition to be awkward and cringy.
Need more stuff like this imo + Show Spoiler +

Worlds should have had a lower bracket and more bo5s and bo7s, these grandfinals weren't worthy of the venue.

I have to say, going to the finals live kind of sucked.
Having a seat on the top row shouldn't have had as much of an impact on the show that it did. I had it kind of okay because I could at least see the hanging screen, but the main screen was disappointing. Not only was it too small, but the lights made it almost painful to look at and obstructed view. I feel really bad for the people who were sitting in the sections further on the side. There, you can barely see the main screen (and it's still obstructed), and you can't see the hanging screens. If they had two more screens - one for each side of the arena, it would have been perfect.
Being on the top row, I didn't expect the sound to be all the great. It wasn't only not great, but anything anyone said was barely audible. Unless the casters were yelling, I couldn't make out anything anyone was saying. The analyst desk was impossible to listen to because of this.
My girlfriend and I went outside to buy merchandise at the beginning of game 2, but we ended up just sitting outside watching the game to the end on the TVs out in the lobby. The quality was just as good, but the difference was there was no obstruction. The audio also bled through the room and was actually louder in the lobby than where we were sitting. Honestly, I think we should have just stayed outside and watched the whole finals there.
The games were also kind of disappointing. Game 1 and 3 were so one sided that it was kind of sad. Game 2 was good, but it was still kind of sad that Royal lost.
The only good things that came out of the finals were the merchandise and the fact that we could leave early. They made the event at a great time for the people going to the event, but I think everyone on the 3rd deck would have had a better time enjoying the show at home. :/

Pretty sure he is most known for his Ahri and Orianna in Korea, he only is famous on Zed cuz of that play that arrived on youtube.
