Having a seat on the top row shouldn't have had as much of an impact on the show that it did. I had it kind of okay because I could at least see the hanging screen, but the main screen was disappointing. Not only was it too small, but the lights made it almost painful to look at and obstructed view. I feel really bad for the people who were sitting in the sections further on the side. There, you can barely see the main screen (and it's still obstructed), and you can't see the hanging screens. If they had two more screens - one for each side of the arena, it would have been perfect.

Being on the top row, I didn't expect the sound to be all the great. It wasn't only not great, but anything anyone said was barely audible. Unless the casters were yelling, I couldn't make out anything anyone was saying. The analyst desk was impossible to listen to because of this.

My girlfriend and I went outside to buy merchandise at the beginning of game 2, but we ended up just sitting outside watching the game to the end on the TVs out in the lobby. The quality was just as good, but the difference was there was no obstruction. The audio also bled through the room and was actually louder in the lobby than where we were sitting. Honestly, I think we should have just stayed outside and watched the whole finals there.

The games were also kind of disappointing. Game 1 and 3 were so one sided that it was kind of sad. Game 2 was good, but it was still kind of sad that Royal lost.

The only good things that came out of the finals were the merchandise and the fact that we could leave early. They made the event at a great time for the people going to the event, but I think everyone on the 3rd deck would have had a better time enjoying the show at home. :/

I haven't read almost any of this thread, but I get the vibe there has been a lot of complaining about the finals not being that exciting. While I would have loved for the games to be closer, it's a competitive game and this is just bound to happen sometimes. So many people make it seem like this is a problem unique to LoL when it's something that happens all the time in traditional sports. Some Super Bowls are nail biters while others are complete blow outs. This has nothing to do with LoL being "too snowbally," and everything to do with SKT just being the best damn team in the world.
