No one can strictly stick to a dull poke strat and flog it to death like Koreans. To be fair, Gambit was at fault as well since their draft lacked hard engages. And NA/EU have had their share of low kill games. they also failed to play the correct way and just decided to stall the game longer by going mid to defend to put themselves in an unwinnable situation

GG.EU and mineski dont deserve the spot, sure they "earned" it, but why not give that 2 spot to far far better teams and we can have sick games. Imagine a tournament full of teams that didnt make this years worlds. CLG, Curse, KT, CJ, iG, WE. They should just combine the Taiwanese and Sea qualifiers. This and let anyone join the wildcard spot, make the tournament held after na/eu lcs and ogn/lpl finals and make it a super deathmatch for the last spot, sort of like how NASL would have 15 spots from their season then held a open bracket for people who didn't get into the tournament for the last spot This would have been awesome, a tournament with KT-B, WE, EG, etc. for the wildcard spot. I'd be so disappointed if they don't make format changes next seson, there are just so many things wrong with it. I'm pretty sure Riot wants to make the game more international, so if that means they have to sacrifice some slots at worlds they will do it. Back in the day people asked Riot to remove first round byes, but Riot refused citing that they didn't want a single region to dominate like in SC2. I don't get that reasoning. By giving a bye to a team considered worse by Riot than some of the group stage teams just to keep the region it represents in the elimination phase, you actually make them play fewer games and get less exposure. If Gamania were in the groups, they would play a minimum of 8 games as opposed to a minimum of 2 games which is very possible in the current system. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind having some exotic teams if they didn't play so many games in a short span like Mineski and GG.eu. I wish they'd use the IPL5 system, it was by far my favorite out of all the LoL tournaments so far. Or at least a classic 4 groups of 4 into single elimination if they don't like double elimination. IPL 5 probably still the most epic LoL tournament to date imo. Obviously the metagame is more entertaining now, but that tournament felt like what Season 2 Worlds should have been or even better.

IMO, because of the "lack" of balance, IPL5, actually have abetter metagame.

fnatic will throw to allow Gambit to advance IMO. Biggest disappointment of the tournament is definitely Ozone and Dade. Dade needs to get his shit together.

damn now I really want Vulcun to step it up to beat Ozone so we don't have to listen to some bullshit matchfixing accusations if Gambit beats Fnatic lol

How is it bullshit? Fnatic hasn't lost to Gambit since the Summer Season finals. Not to mention they stomped Gambit really hard already in the first round of groups.

Fnatic hasn't lost a series to Gambit since like IEM.
Especially if Gambit picks something wonky and Fnatic loses; the debut of jungle karma Fnatic just steamrolled Gambit

I really hope Fnatic doesn't throw on purpose, I will lose all the respect I had for them. Gambit doesn't deserve to advance if they get a free win, they should earn it like everyone else and beat the team that is their Kriptonite fair and square. I just don't see the reason why they would in the first place, one it would bring bad PR and uneccisary drama to one of the oldest and respected E-Sports teams in the business plus it could give Gambit the momentum in the future(in this tournament if they meet again or in future tournaments) to beat them.

It's odd/dangerous to assume that fnatic is going to give gambit a free pass (and break their crazy win streak) because of some sense of EU solidarity.

Oh, so if Gambit does beat Fnatic, then Fnatic must have thrown?
Vulcan has a decent chance of beating Ozone in any case. They can still go 5-3 and make it out of the groups (realistically tiebreak with Gambit).

Yeah, there will be people claiming throws. We'll see how the game plays out though. If it plays out like NJ sword vs NJ shield I'd be pretty pissed not gonna lie.

so Dade really didn't skill E until lvl 4, fucking greedy lol. and on his 2nd kill he used it to farm.

It's not just cuz they are EU. Because they have Gambit's number, they pose less of threat if they were to ever meet again in the upper rounds. Whereas against Ozone, even though they beat them twice already, there's more uncertainty.

If they do beat fnatic, either way, there will be QQ and accusations cause ppl are jelly and petty

If it was the other way around, the Koreans would probably throw the game. It's well-known that any foreigner couldnt find practice partners in KR due to people leaking replays (in sc2 that is). So I won't feel ashamed if Fnatic throws the game to Gambit.

Not sure how anyone could ever say this. It's pretty fucking disgraceful for either side. But yeah, blind fanboyism can make people retarded I guess. And what you said was pretty much a lie.
