He said that in LPL, the bottom team such as ephk at least will try some interesting tactics, at least they will try to win. in s2, SAJ have tried their best and put their effort into the game(such as lane switch) even though there was a skill gap between SAJ and world-class teams. However, in s3, gg.eu and mineski didn't show their fighting spirits to win. He thought these team just came to the stage and waited to lose. At least, they should group up and try to get some kills, or they should just surrender at 20min instead of wasting our time after that 10k gold deficit. | ||

I agree with him that they are not trying very hard though but they can probably only scrim each other and there is no North American Walkover team here this year like Dignitas last time. | ||

According to what he said, it is not they are not trying very hard but not trying at all. Mineski randomly picked their champions and didn't do anything such as lane switch. They didn't even talk in that game. It was ridiculous that a pro-team had a 10k deficit in 13min. | ||

edit: Actually really mad at Samsung now. They seemingly ruined an awesome team. Replace Homme, do zero prep, don't even have the same coaching staff. I don't even Ozone feels exactly like the Chinese teams did at TI2. They are caught in a situation where they thought the meta one was thing but in fact it was another. Just in Ozones case it was riot patching the game 2 weeks before worlds where as the Chinese teams just assessed the game wrong. | ||

Even after Skt got stomped by Lovelin and ozone vs fnatic game 1, Cloudtemplar literally said "that's why you korea doesn't play aatrox, he's worthless without passive" just because Ozone beat Gambit today. Really bad research, Cyanide has played nothing else but aatrox in the last 2 months. Same seems to go for Corki, although they know he's strong they aren't prioritizing it. (In this case Imp doesn't seem to have practiced it and maybe too proud to ban) Zed+Kassadin was the amazing part FNC's drafting today imo. Both Soaz & Peke have played a lot of Zed so far so They prob thought Dade could get it for the first and only time this tournament but then boom instalock from fnatic, baited out the Lissandra pick and then the amazing mindgames with Kassadin. They seemed to have completely forgotten about Xpeke's best champion, or probably didn't even know about it considering their "astonishing research" . Feels like they never even considered Zed to be played outside of midlane :D | ||
