At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012

Yeah, they should've fought but it's hard to fight when the enemy team has a better team fight than yours and they're turtling at towers. If CLG fought 5v5 under towers they would've gotten raped. So they split pushed. Yeah, the split push was not the issue. Even the time he got caught after tping top - the idea wasn't bad, but he tped after m5 were already halfway across the map. Like, if he'd tped when he saw them starting dragon (or even before that) he could have made something happen instead of just dying, instead he waited around, waited for them to get back into position to defend and then just died. The second death you could see he was looking to meet up with his team and contest baron properly, but he walked over a ward and died to a global initiate comp. Kinda sloppy I guess, but just one of those things. Really unfortunate for clg as they were absolutely playing brilliantly - had a strat and just executed, built a big lead and almost cracked the base, but a couple of mistakes and the game turned. EDIT: Worth noting that M5 aren't playing the all in counterjungling game that they had been doing in kiev. People are probably going to give saintvicious for talking about that when it was a different style that won M5 the games they won.

The problem is that when CLG isn't in the position to contest dragon, they're usually also not in the position to punish the other team overcommitting people to take dragon. If you put it that way, then of course it's not worth risking to contest dragon out of position. But if you've seen most of their matches, they obviously do not attempt/prepare to get in position for dragon fights whatsoever

Not looking good for Dignitas ![]() The only team that I've seen with an answer to M5's aggression so far is CLG.eu. Though one wonders if that was a fluke/one time ordeal or if CLG.eu truly is adequately prepared to deal with M5 in an offline event.

Thats just my opinion and I don't feel like it was really Dlift throwing it. You could see he had a hard time and just got zoned out by Genja's fantastic urgot play. Not to mention Genja landed some suhhhhweeet ultis mid game. Oh and stop giving away free dragons CLG! Behind you give dragon.. ahead you give dragon ?? Can't compute. they made a pick mistake in the first game. They should have second picked janna and last picked tf to counter ryze but instead they second picked tf for some reason and m5 got janna. The janna + urgot combo is insane apparently, there's so much synergy with the +AD and the glacial shroud armor stacking with two shields.

Hopefully Jatt will drop some science on Reddit with some match analysis. I'm assuming the game treats stacked shields as one shield with regards to passive abilities triggered while the shied is up - if Terror Capacitor (7 second duration) is up at the same time as Eye of the Storm (5 second duration), the slow on attacks and the AD bonus will remain up for either the duration of their related shield or until the shield is negated by damaage, right, rather than damage specifically negating one shield (and associated passive benefit) before another?

Chauster routinely outlanes Reginald, Dyrus, Xpecial, jiji, and tons of other NA pros. He's probably one of, if not the, best solo laners in the world. His late game team fighting isn't quite up to part imo but his laning is fucking insane.

Doesn't matter. The plan would straight up not have worked. Vlad bullies cho at that stage, and cho can't push faster than vlad. That's the main reason he got caught. There was not enough pressure so m5 got opportunities to move around on the map and threaten cho.

Lee Sin is really strong. SO TRUE. One big problem almost all AD's have with nocturne is the ult dive. Since your allies aren't always gonna be in position to save you, then you either have to be tristana, because if you kill noct u get low, or get some more defensives ![]() One thing I really hated was that the last fight ended without me understanding wtf happened. I just watched DL get ulted. The spectator experience of LoL is worse than that of SC2. My impression of that fight was that Hotshot went in with the team slightly lagging behind. He tried to rupture but M5 dodged. They focussed him hard while Kennen ulted into the rest of CLG and drove them off. Cho falls and the rest of CLG is cleaned up. That fight could have gone the other way if Cho could have hit Kennen with the rupture and the rest of the team would have blown him up. That happened in the fight before at tower.

Yup, i think there is a matchup imbalance in favour of M5 at the AD lane but jiji TF helped them stay in it i guess? Yup and urgot has the amazing mid game and very nice item progression (like ryze)

How many teams have really practiced this to the point where they can all react appropriately? In any game you only spend a very small part 5vs5 team fighting, but it's the most important part. In pretty much any fight we have seen top class players still making mistakes in positioning and choices. Part of this is that you're reacting to what 9 other players are doing, but couldn't this be improved with some dedicated team fight practice?
