At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread.

At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament.

Thanks.

Why does HSGG hunch when giving an interview.

First, doublelift first game. Second, hotshotgg 2nd game.

Man M5 punishes any mistakes so hard.

Props for owning up to that.... Can't be easy to loose, then go up to a stage with a live broadcast and say: "I screwed up".

I'd say Hotshot (or someone else on CLG) correctly predicted that M5 had the stronger team fight comp. The only late game team fight they won was when kennen got totally caught with no chance to flash or ult

So split pushing with cho had merit. The problem was ashe+nocturne being able to catch him out pretty easily.

I'm liking hotshots attitude afterwards. Pretty good insight even though they lost disappointingly.

It wasn't a HSGG throw. Anyone on their team could have been not retarded and said to fight with two 4000g items more on their team. HSGG was just the one who got caught and was split pushing. Got a 8000g advantage as a team, threw it as a team.

Depend IF someone called it, or IF hotshotgg would listen.

If hotshot went against what his team wanted, and himself said that they should split push against even one of his teammates, then the loss is entirely his fault. If CLG as a team thought hotshot should split push, then it's all their throw, hotshot just was the unfortunate dead.

I love it.
The only thing we need now is TSM giving CLG shit for losing against M5! Reddit drama go!

neglecting dragon really allowed m5 to get back into the game. clg's arrogance is hilarious. if they had controlled dragon with an early lead, they would have cut off m5's economy for sure. of course, m5's comp is heavily directed at late game, and dragon helped for sure. oh and hs throwing the game lol

And yet tomorrow people will give Dignitas the odds.

M5 has won multiple games because of opponents fucking up terribly.

Dignitas' only loss came when they fucked up terribly, otherwise they've looked dominant.

So someone with written "United States" next to his name claiming that a United States team is much better because a Russian team wins "because of others mistakes" in which dimension should be considered an un-biased comment?

Lots of people rooting against M5. Primarily because of their attitude issues etc.
Attitude issues. They have a far better attitude than like TSM and CLG to name a few well-liked and very cheered-for teams.

Rivington: You had those targeted bans. How did things change Game 1 and 2?
HSGG: THey out picked out bot lane Game 1 and that's why we lost. Second game we were winning so hard, but then I got caught and they got Baron and we lost.
Rivington: So how did you use your momentum to win the second game?
Alex Ich: The second game was the hardest for us the past two months. It was really hard. We predicted the lane swap but they have teleport and Nunu buff and so much advantage. They push us hard. But then Hotshot get caught and we go for mid-late game when we're stronger.
Rivington: For a game where you're getting snowballed, what advice do you have for people?
Alex Ich: I don't know. I'm bad at these situations. It's all my team. I just say "We can do this, we can do this."
Rivington: What do you take away from these games?
HSGG: We're really limited in our team picks. We need to get better. Like, Voyboy picked up Lee Sin just a week before the tournament and unlocked the secret of top lane Lee Sin. EU doesn't know how to deal with Lee Sin. I don't know how to deal with Lee Sin. We just ban it, haha. We really need to work on that.
Rivington: Shoutout to sponsors?
HSGG: Thanks to our sponsors. Thanks to our fans, thanks for watching us and being so supportive of League of Legends. And also, shoutout to my grandpa and grandma.
Rivington: And you?
Alex Ich: Thanks to everyone watching. Thanks to the audience. Thanks to my parents and people supporting us.

Cho split would've worked. Cho getting caught and dying twice in under three minutes is entirely his fault. Yeah, they should've fought but it's hard to fight when the enemy team has a better team fight than yours and they're turtling at towers. If CLG fought 5v5 under towers they would've gotten raped. So they split pushed.
