Well stacking ninja tabi w/ runes will net you ~65% dodge with jax, not to mention your build requires only 5100 gold and you get a lot of armor.

That having been said he can't really nuke lol. I guess I'll troll my friends with this

Dodge has diminishing returns, I think you would need like 3-4 tabis to get to an effective 65%

6 ninja tabi with full dodge runes and masteries and level 5 counter strike is like 66.5% dodge or something.

Dodging twice a second is really helpful when counterstrike has a 4.5 sec cooldown.

I've gotten a second tabi vs. a team with Trist, Panth, Trynd, a support, and a tank, but otherwise I shy away from extra armor items on Jax (since it has anti-synergy with dodge). If I get an armor item besides tabi, it's Atma's or GA.

armor doesn't decrease the chance you'll get a dodge nor the value of a dodge when you do get one
dodge doesn't always proc and armor will give you better EHP even if you have dodge

not that i'm recommending double tabi by any means but this statement is just false

I think his point was, why waste money on armor, when you will be dodging attacks anyway and taking no damage. Said money could be spent on more damage items which in turn give him more health. That's just my interpretation of it though

I personally do not agree

Let's say you dodge 20% of attacks.

You will take 80% of attacks (ignoring undodgable attacks, more than you would think.)
Getting 100 armour means you will take 50% of damage from 80% of attacks.
So you only take 40% total damage. The 100 armour makes a LARGE difference to the amount of damage coming in
HOWEVER compared to the value of getting MR it is slightly lower, it doesn't mean armour is bad though, but dodge mitigates some of AD damage that MR might be slightly better.

You already want to get atmas anyway though, so might as well get that/ga for armour.

I'm doing very similar things, but also I usually bet a nice bit of lifesteal items, lets me stay in lanes for so long, as i can either farm or jungle for a second to get my hp up, also when at lvl 18 or so, I just killed me opponents because I heal off of them, is this a good idea?

Armor is amazing on Jax, I don't know why you would think otherwise.

My current build is something like boots + 3 pot or cloth + 5 pot, 1-2 dblades if I'm winning, maybe a dshield if i'm losing, rush dodge boots if I'm vs a melee that's not garen, lose lane if it is garen, rush rageblade and either gunblade or rylais into atma's from there. AFK farm top or get babysat bottom while killing anyone you come across or get ganked by and get situational defensive items from there.
