no i don't think olafs true damage makes him useful against a tank, I was saying the opposite. its why I said its inefficient compared to lee/fizz.

alright fair point that you get more damage if you fail to stick onto a target.
k I appreciate the points you brought up and I'll try it some more myself since actually trying both will give me better perspective. as soon as the devourer bug is gone zz

Ive been stalking Teuts profile, he has played a bit of Jax.

Sure, Devourer is disabled, but...

Why not once CDR boots?
Why no Face of the Mountain?
Why only very very rarely locket?

What happened to 40% CDR is super important?
What happened to HP stacking is op?


Also, super impressed how well you did in skirmishes and ganks with Cinderhulk and 9 21 0

If I do the same build every game then it's kind of hard to contrast the effectiveness of different items now isn't it
I mean its hard anyway with confirmation bias and game variance and other such things but if you just blindly do the build you think is probably best without testing then you'll never know if something else is better.

Yeah devourer is disabled so I get to see firsthand how bad cinderhulk jax is.
With cinderhulk you're basically forced to get botrk second item and cinderhulk kinda works like a bad face of the mountain and botrk is an expensive devourer
Locket is a resist item not a priority at all I would say, especially not with cinderhulk giving extra gains on flat hp and not a shield.

I think pretty much all the games I played were lost at 20 minutes but the enemy dicked around so they lasted longer
I mean I could have won them all if I wasn't totally useless but go figure I haven't played in a while and jax is a terrible early game jungler.

I've more recently stopped getting max cdr in favour of things like trinity or steraks but I'm not sure if it's smart or not, definitely felt the lack of CDR.

I dislike CDR boots because they're not cost effective at all but if there are no good ways to get CDR they aren't bad

Not sure what the comment about 9/21 is about. Extra offensive points gives you 3-6% damage from havoc+ spell/blade weaving if you stack em up (vs champs only), defensive tree gives you 10% bonus armour/mr+a bunch per enemy near which is a lot in total once your ult is up I'd say they are comparable.
Oh a little bit more AP from the offensive tree is good as well. But reinforced armour is really good in some situations (e.g vs yasuo lol)

Yeah but you were just running around bopping people with nothing but Cinderhulk and def masteries. And you actually were a strong duelist. I was always running 21 9 0, and Warrior with the disabled Devourer, because I felt I would lack pressure/damage otherwise.

I just tried def masteries really quick in a normal, and it makes the early much smoother, at least it feels like it. Also Cinderhulk Jax is awesome, tanky as fuck and still bopping kids left and right :&

Yea cmon there is nothing you couldve done to prevent that from happening. Your lanes were most of the time outclassed and lost by themselves. Even without jungle pressure from enemy.

And when you were in fights you were actually doing damage and getting shit done...???

Edit: I mean sure if you were playing your main champions, you probably couldve turned the games around, but that has also to do with the fact that you are unpracticed on Jax, not just because Jax is a bad champion
