Not to say that Shaco isn't damn good at dueling, running away, killing towers, backdooring, or generally being annoying, just as a jungler he'd be behind in gold compared to a Zed/Shen/Nidalee/TF/Fizz that are splitpushing so would not be able to tduel them. Shaco also doesn't put out nearly as much map pressure in high level games because people dont derp push against Shaco. That and he just oldschool and how classes. There is no reason to pick Shaco over Eve or Zac at a high level. | ||

With Hydra + Shiv you clear waves in about 1 second and you push towers down like mad because you have your damage, your clones damage and JitB damage. If you do ever manage to get your Hydra, Shiv, LW & Tanky item, your team fight at that point is actually pretty damn good. You basically have to play like Eve does, where you sit to the side and try your best to flank behind them. If you can Q onto their AP or ADC you can chunk them hard because Q crit dmg, shiv proc, hydra proc all instantly. To be fair though, the games where I do get that fed I usually still just split push 24/7 anyway because nobody on the enemy team could 1v1 me. | ||

It is really nice you can do dorans + 1 pot now though. Although with the changes I'm almost wondering if long sword 2pot would be stronger since it'll give you that earlier tiamat. I would Red > Blue > Enemy Red in 95% of my games, unfortunately since you don't get 3 after double buff it makes it a whole hell of a lot scarier lol, you can still do that but then you're still level 2 so you don't have your E. Although catching the enemy jungler at red is still very scary since Box + Q + Ignite + You have double buff is still very strong. edit: After some testing..... Starts dorans + 1pot. I run 21/9/0. ad reds, armor yellows, atks blues, ms quints. 0.55 - Put 1 box by red. ~1:10 - There's a blue mushroom next to the stone circle by wraith camp, put box on it. ~1:25 - Place 2nd box by wraith camp. ~1:40 - place 3rd box by wraith camp. ~1:55 - red spawns, place 2nd box down, smite immediately. Rush your blue afterwards. What this does is the 3 boxes at Wraiths but the 3 boxes at wraiths will kill all 3 of the small ones. All 3 of the small ones + both buff camps = level 3. (Exactly enough xp) If you smite your red asap it will be up by the time you get to blue. With a leash at red from your bot lane you can probably save your smite if you want but you can still do everything solo. With both buffs down and level 3 you still have about ~80% hp which is more than enough. | ||

My build path is usually Dorans + 1pot > pickaxe > boots1 > tiamat > hydra > mobos > shiv > lw > defensive item. Once you get LW though you can usually 1v1 most people as long as you get a good box down and they take the full fear. Take Smite & Ignite. R > E > W > Q for skills. (Start W Q E) (You can start W E Q but I like level 2 Q so I can jump wall by blue to get to it faster) I run 21/9/0 masteries (might try some 21/0/9 soon to see how I like that) AD Reds, Armor Yellows, Atks Blues, MS Quints (Full AD quints or even 1LS/2AD could be good as well) Made up a picture to explain where I prefer to place boxes and usually the time I place them at. Other than the loss of 250 gold in the temporary blue pot, what does doing wraiths with jitb do? Is it because you don't reach level 3 anymore from doing just blue and red and so you start red and wraiths? | ||

But how to build him now. I am at a loss. I try the standard first jungle item and after that I have no idea. Tri force is too expensive. Ghostblade is too gimmicky I feel. Anyone have any advice or experience. I was diamond last season, currently upper plat as I just started playing again after a long break. | ||
