Thanks to Reddit sleuths, everyone can try the LotV test maps by following instructions here. Note: This is not a beta key, it is simply access to Vs. AI and a Unit Tester. I have no idea how cool with this Blizzard is or is not, use at your own risk. | ||

Not sure if trolling... For explanation: I always call them by their former name. Im not calling them by their stupid name Blizz gave them. They also didn´t change the name in the German version ( Kampfhellion) so... | ||

Ah sorry, to me it sounded like a blend of the Battlecruiser and the Hellion, which as you can guess made me imagine an interesting unit :D | ||

To play with all of the new LotV stuff in the maps dragged onto SC2Switcher, just make sure the map names "Void.SC2mod" and "VoidMulti.SC2Mod" as dependencies. I just created two totally new dummy mod files in my normal mod folder with these names, added them into a map's dependencies, and saved. The map would then load with what I assume is all of the LotV stuff. I've only done it with a dummy map (lots of resources, just empty space where I can build up units), but I'm certain this would work for, say, Cloud Kingdom. Just make sure the map has "Void" and "VoidMulti" listed as dependencies. I find it quite shocking how much isn't quite done yet in the game... A lot of assets are just placeholders from HotS. I suppose they did say they wanted to start before everything was nice and polished, so good for them anyway I guess. | ||

There may be no such file, but that -is- what causes it to work. Interesting. I wonder if it exists by using CASC's symbolic links to redirect from Void to VoidMulti. | ||
