Getting camped sucks though. Nautilus is somewhat easily "countered" by going to fight him. You don't need to kill him or anything. If you steal his blue, or make him oom by forcing him to cast a couple abilities, it slows down his farming tremendously during the first 2 clears. If you play a non-mana intensive jungler you can also just do that, poke him a bit so he spends mana, and he won't be able to go back to the jungle (he'll likely recall even if he's full health because oom Naut farms too slowly... I mean he waves his anchor and pretends to farm), and you're then free to gank knowing he won't participate. Alternatively, if he counterganks or something, he'll get oom in the process, so you can just stop fighting, and then gank again or steal this half of the map while he's in base. I've only seen one guy do it to me, and it was only trying to steal my blue, and because he was running some cheese, it didn't seem specific to me playing Nautilus. I'm doing pretty well in lane as Braum but teamfights just don't cut it... obviously, against shit like Sion who can't do much to begin with sadly, and you can't keep up with Vayne's mobility for example to keep blocking her autos (or catch up to her if she stumbles past you). Hitting more ults is really important, and managing E cd properly too to make sure I maximise how much I block (I tend to use it just for the damage reduction), and I'm failing at both of these. Are there particular points to playing out teamfights about him? Positioning, switching targets or keep bodyblocking one, etc. ? I usually win the lane (or stabilise if we lose early) but my winrate with him is still low (only 3-5, think I only lost lane once out of these) because if people get caught or decide to split up in fights it feels like my peeling and damage are too low to make up for that.

Not really. Jungle follow meta makes early jungling ezpz.

Trying to kill him is very feasible too since he's super slow and his base HP isn't that good and the shield is worse (and not maxed) now, but you don't need that at all.

Is it viable or am I gimping myself if I 'refuse' to learn TriForce?

Is it viable or am I gimping myself if I 'refuse' to learn TriForce? I think if you start IE for example, you're going to hit hard, but you're gonna die really, really fast since you don't have any kind of movement. The only kiting ability you got is a line of ooze and hope that your team peels for you. Trinity Force in itself isn't THAT strong imo, but Botrk after that is like one of the strongest powerspikes in the game for him (imo). You spit on someone, put on your long range and you chunk ANYONE for at least 14% of their health. You kill squishies in about 4 hits. They go TF on kog because it just gives everything he needs, literally every stat on it is good for him. And if you combine it with Botrk, dayuuuuuuuum son. Then you get PD and IE and you just destroy people, it's not even pretty anymore. I've been playing alot of Kog lately as well and here is my question: why would people want to max e second instead of q? Attack speed buff + armor/mr shred seems + damage seems to be stronger, no? Or is it just for the extra %slow it applies?

I play top lane very rarely but honestly the matchup felt quite easy - trades were pretty much even early on and post revolver I could just push him in all day and never let him have any map pressure. What's your trick to winning the matchup? I mean, I don't know if it's a trick or anything, I just never felt real pressure in the matchup until he had Cowl. When he uses E to keep Tides stacks up, or uses Q to last hit, just walk up and auto Q auto him. I maxed Q first and just outtraded him so hard. This is from....three or four games at Plat 5 level. I picked Teemo not necessarily as a counter but just because it's one of the few Vlad matchups I have experience in.

Your late game will always be awesome, but your mid Game is quite scary with the trinity.
