Or when your ADC dies, and needs mana to do stuff, and they just get revived to die again.

Honestly if they just made the bombs actually possible to land on people with more than 330 ms he would be decent.I have been playing for 4 years and have never had this much issue landing a skillshot.You would think the reward was something insane but it is actually mediocre at best.They need to at least make the ability a lot stronger if it that hard to hit.

Bard is definitely one of my favorite champs Riot's released, I just think he's weak as hell. Ain't gunna stop me from picking him for the lulz. Can't wait for buff on his Magica Journey. zoom zoom across maps.

They need to figure out chimes. Until they get that right his solo queue and competitive power levels will be far too divergent.

The number of meeps you get at early level is so trash too. Absolutely no lane presence, also the reward for harassing with meep is super low, with high risk (short range).

I'm just really confused about the chime mechanic. Before he came out I assumed one of two things would be true:
1. He would be a really scary roamer and chimes would help him stay even in levels.
2. Chimes would give almost as much experience as lane and make his roaming strong just because he could do it constantly.
On release it turns out that just from his kit he's actually a relatively weak roamer, worse than annie/thresh/blitz/leona etc.
AND chimes don't give anything near lane experience, but you are forced to get them in order to use his passive.
So basically he's a poor roamer who is artificially forced to leave his ADC helpless to stack his passive, and has a low chance of accomplishing much in any other lane. Not a good situation.

have you seen his redside blue to bot lane jungle/mid/support dives? fucking terror.
if bard has vision control of river bush bot lane, he's never MIA, he's always there, waiting with jungler to fuck your shit up.

While I can't say much about how powerful Bard is, I have to say that his magical journey is way too much fun.
I was playing with some friends and it seems like a coordinated magical journey is powerful. Then again, coordination in a team game will always be strong.

i think bard just needs more time, ive already seen 1 or 2 people that were already starting to get the hang of him. Once these buffs go through he will be very playable in solo q

I'm going to record some of my Bard games and try to show some cool plays by him that I think are scratching the surface. He's the only champ where I'll ult someone and ask my duo how he thinks I could have played it better because the possibilities are endless.

So what's the current top 4-5 champs in each role right now? In my opinion, the list is something like:
Top: Lissandra, Kennen, Mao'Kai, Sion, Rumble
Jungle: Rek'Sai, Sejuani, Vi, Lee
Mid: Ahri, Zed, Lissandra, Morgana, Diana, Ezreal
ADC: Graves, Sivir, Jinx, Kog'Maw
Support: Morgana, Thresh, Janna, Leona, Annie
Note this list is for both solo Q and competitive, also mentioned some extra champs as a couple of them are super flexible atm.

Add Viktor, Leblanc and Xerath mid. Lulu support/top lane and Nami support + Hecarim top lane and you're set.
