from my very limited experience so far it seems like they just changed a lot of things that did absolutely nothing, game still feels stale and boring. Definitely more snowbally though, first dragon is so important its stupid. they need to change those dragon buffs badly. the second one is so pathetically bad and the first is like one of the best ones, lolwut

Don't know about other stuff but the Dragon buffs are specifically made like that so that if you lose 1-3 dragons but gain one you aren't put hugely behind.

edit: I last checked blue has 56% winrate atm.

thats pretty akin to nerfing teemo or xin zhao though, the losing team doesnt just magically get a free dragon in real games heh. I think they will change it eventually.

Why would they change it?It's not something that wins/loses games. It gives 30 ap/20 ad(or both for some champs). How does that snowball the game that much more than before lol?

If you could just get random magical free dragon it would be rather pointless to be ahead.

Biggest deal about dragons is the 5th one.

In professional games, dragons are rarely split, one team usually takes control of them all. its the accumulation of all those buffs that is bad for the game, not necessarily just the first one. Just that one is the worst offender as its quite powerful for just getting the one dragon. It should probably start at the second buff which doesnt really affect combat and go from there.

That 24 minute timing in which you need to deny one dragon not enough of an opportunity for losing team.Clearly op.Not to mention that you can time drake without vision now since the dragon buff updates real time AND has an animation lol...

At least give real reasons for harder to comeback like junglers have less gold if losing compared to before. The inner towers are actually really strong if you have waveclear.

You also forgetting that with each stack of dragon buff, dragon becomes more difficult to take as he takes less damage and deals more. As the game progresses the only easy way to take dragon will be if you positionally outplay your opponent. The days of being able to juggle the threat of taking dragon to force the other team to commit to a fight are numbered.

its not noticeable unfortunately, the hardest dragon to kill is still probably the first making that fight still the most crucial fight in the game as it stands. mid game dragons (3rd/4th?) can be taken down in seconds as a team still.

How is it more snowbally?

It is actually ridiculously hard to end games now without taking risks or stalling things out.

Before if you were 5k gold ahead you could just dive and give zero fucks, ace, then win.

Now diving that inhib tower is like suicide.the Perma slow is intense.

I really like the stacking dragon buff. It makes even soloq people group for it on time because everyone knows how important it is.

Yeah since the patch hit I'm seeing people pay more attention to vision and dragon control. Makes my job harder since I'm used to sneaking every dragon without enemy team paying attention lol.

I'm glad it's really important because first dragon timing has always been a weakness in my game.

Hey Seuss do you think speccing into the utility tree is better for junglers now instead of going something like 21/9? I feel like those buffs really don't do much for me beyond the first clear.

Can you even afford to? Clear so painful without building some more dmg. Or sustain.

I don't know if seuss will be around today but awhile ago he was expounding that with the extra numbers of buffs, buff duration is much better, and he was running tri-style masteries along the lines of X/X/9. Even if you don't need the buffs to clear anymore keep in mind that raptor buff = ward clear, which is nice, there is some difference between 60 seconds of that and 72 seconds.

I wonder if buff duration helps with 5th drag/baron too...

I build it after finishing jungle item. I found the added vision, especially in games where you get the "support" on your team, far outstrips anything else in effectiveness. Confirmation bias be damned.

Sieges when you are ahead are incredibly difficult to stop, and once you get that 5th dragon you can just power through everything.

I find that the rock/frog buffs don't really help me too much beyond the first clear. And five six seconds off smite doesn't seem to make too much of a difference anyways.
I usually plan my clear in a way that I clear raptors just before looking for a gank so one minute feel more than enough for me to find and clear wards.

Btw I really like that river camp. Even if I'm playing a jungler that needs to rush six or is more farm oriented (think shyvanna/udyr) I can control that camp to provide vision for my laners and contribute to protect them from ganks. Of course half the time people have zero map awareness and don't listen to pings and end up dying anyways but still it's something.

To be fair. If you're in a game where your team gets 5 dragons, chances are you're already roflstomping them.

If you are at the point you are wanting to dive inhib turrets you are in position to control dragon until it auto wins for you.
