Thats ridiculous, because probably 40 of the 120 champions actually are completely useless in those situations. The thing that compounds it, is the changes to the towers hurt the champions already hurt the most by mobility creep.
Shyvana? Garen? Singed? Volibear? Xin? Darius? Nasus? Morde? Nunu? Malphite? Swain? Pantheon? Udyr? etc... These champions feel the shit out of these changes. Ironically, Riot wants to see more diversity, but hasn't balanced the game in a manner in which getting more diversity is a thing. If I dont have a dash or CC, I should be WAY more combat effective than someone who has both. Realistically, Kalista/Vayne hit as harder than Sivir/Quinn, and Yasuo/Zed can rofl 1v1 anyone in the game.
The utility of being incredibly mobile and having CC doesn't give you combat deficincies compared to a champion that has none of those. I think thats stupid.
But this is also a company that bitches about how hard the burden of range is... so lol. I main xin, and this patch is even more ridiculous than the Feral Flare 's one. I literally 1v2 or 3 at then end of each game, even full stuffed champs. (well except when it was wukong warwick and malz + ignite) Those tower have 80% armor reduction, if you really wanna dive, do it with support or someone with more hp less armor that do not need to be close contact to ennemies.
Yeah, which means you have to seige them and draw out the game, basically.

What problem are you having with it? If you find it to be resetting on you while doing the invincible spot thing, try moving slightly closer. It should look like it keeps cancelling it's own auto-attack (if it's not even trying to AA you, then you're too far away). If you're getting this effect, but it just eventually resets anyway, I recommend saving your burst damage until the end and then executing it before it can do this. Rock buff or any kind of slow / dash lets you kite it in circles as an alternative. Yeah, when I get to the invincible zone he tends to reset. With Red it doesn't happen nearly as much, or if it does he only resets partially before trying to after you again. Blue tends to full reset on me.
Sounds to me like we need Scip to post a video on how to do it properly.

I'm sure it's matter of practice :/ I like the fact that you can clear with no health damage as ADC in jungle, but it's simply not worth the lack of utility on the map. Also any consensus on which smite modifier is the best? The AoE one seems too good not to take, thought of an interesting idea of having support take smite, get the AoE modifier, instawave clear for rest of the game.

From what I've seen, everyone just goes ranger's on everyone.

Does it happen as soon as you both get to the invincible spot? If so then you're too far away. If it tries to punch you and fails for a few seconds and then eventually walks away for good then you're in a good spot.
I guess a good way to learn is to sit in melee range and take damage, then move a tiny step back, make sure you're still taking damage, take another tiny step, repeat until you find the spot. Obviously impractical in a real game but that's what customs are for.
Sorry I can't do a video, my laptop is waaaaaay too old / weak for that.
edit: I do agree that ADC junglers have lots of problems. I am loving Twitch atm, though. The snowball is real as long as you have at least two other threats on your team.
Bomb smite seems the strongest for actual jungling imo, the 15s difference on counter jungling smite isn't that huge of a deal (or I haven't found it to be).

the poachers smite when you have 9 in utility with summoner's insight is just insane. put that crap on nunu and you can take half the enemy jungle in seconds and by the time you get to dragon smite is back up. but the ranger's smite is definitely the best for champs that don't need an extra ranged slow or use on hit effects amazingly (warwick, yi, Xin), unless you plan on taking the opposing jungle often (nunu or splitting the map top/bottom).

TOO's "trashtalk" against Looper because they're against one another and TOO won the last time it happened is pretty hilarious on his stream atm.

Gaining health/mana every 2-3 camps is nothing to laugh at.
Been playing nocturne, and flare 2.0 is nuts. Can usually pick it up by 10 minutes, and the amount of damage that you do once you have it is incredible, especially if you can spellshield something. Some games I'm getting to 100+ onhit damage lategame.

Tried my first game on the new Rift just now and I have no idea what im doing just like that dog in that meme picture

Holy fuck.
Riot needs to cap the max amount of Damage Kalista E does on Baron.
She can safely burst the guy for much more than smite if she built any items. Supposedy they max out at like 4 second retention, but like... my buddy was hitting baron for like 2k damage.

After 4 seconds all stacks drop. Each stack doesn't have its own timer.

What is the general consensus on the best jungle item to build or does it depend on what champion you play? I just tried Skirmishers and i like the mini exhaust embedded in the item as well as the target sight, but the marginal true damage not so much.

I dunno, the CD on smite seems a bit long to justify the 2 "ganking" ones. And poacher is a bit too conditional for it to be worth it over ranger.

I am gonna post my stupid theory-crafting here just because.
Has anybody here tried going smite in mid? If you go mage trailblazer its 2250 for 80AP and 20% cdr. Add onto this that you can smite over the wall for 15% hp and mana plus a buff, or just use it to clear waves since it is 45 sec CD. Hell you could even use the razorbeak buff to clear wards if i am reading the wiki right.
I wouldnt use this on a champ that uses ignite in lane, but I might be willing to part with heal given the sustain boost it gives.
