It is actually ridiculously hard to end games now without taking risks or stalling things out.
Before if you were 5k gold ahead you could just dive and give zero fucks, ace, then win.
Now diving that inhib tower is like suicide.the Perma slow is intense. Sieges when you are ahead are incredibly difficult to stop, and once you get that 5th dragon you can just power through everything. To be fair. If you're in a game where your team gets 5 dragons, chances are you're already roflstomping them. If you are at the point you are wanting to dive inhib turrets you are in position to control dragon until it auto wins for you. If your at that point then you have full baron control as well... which essentially did the same thing.

Yeah, but why should i have to siege?
Thats ridiculous, because probably 40 of the 120 champions actually are completely useless in those situations. The thing that compounds it, is the changes to the towers hurt the champions already hurt the most by mobility creep.
Shyvana? Garen? Singed? Volibear? Xin? Darius? Nasus? Morde? Nunu? Malphite? Swain? Pantheon? Udyr? etc... These champions feel the shit out of these changes. Ironically, Riot wants to see more diversity, but hasn't balanced the game in a manner in which getting more diversity is a thing. If I dont have a dash or CC, I should be WAY more combat effective than someone who has both. Realistically, Kalista/Vayne hit as harder than Sivir/Quinn, and Yasuo/Zed can rofl 1v1 anyone in the game.
The utility of being incredibly mobile and having CC doesn't give you combat deficincies compared to a champion that has none of those. I think thats stupid.
But this is also a company that bitches about how hard the burden of range is... so lol.

You siege for the same reason you freeze a lane. because its a safe way to maintain and grow your advantage, that forces the enemy to take risks to break. I can understand not liking the system, and thinking its going about it the wrong way. but once you have a lead enough to siege a base and take a safe baron/dragon you can use that advantage to control the rest of the game.
if your aim is to make sure you can dive inhib turrets with an advantage, then draft for that and it gets far easier.

Oh PX, never change.
You cant even dive bots 1v3 at inhib before 20 minutes anymore.

That being said, there are three changes which are going to shake things up a bit.
1) Per level advantages are smaller until the end game. This means that the stat advantage of melee champions is weaker at the points when it matters.
2) everyone can buy on demand CC now. The CC smite is a powerful slow on a short CD and once you get past 2200 gold you have no deficiencies because the jungle items are so efficient on the upgrades.
3) holy fuck CertainlyT can't make a reasonable champion to save his life.
Edit: forgot to say that if you're having trouble sieging, buy banner of command. It's a fucking aegis which makes minions magic immune and out range turrets.

iem just became interesting: hotshot vs saint vicious ARAM for 10k, sponsored by intel and hp

I dunno, it bothers me.
Its not strategic diversity if you just make all the strategies from before awful... its just strategic shuffling.
Its not even that I can't adapt, I just think its change for the sake of change.

That moment when PX is a voice of reason might be the point when you should cool your jets on the subject...
The hype for saint vs hotshot is going to be real but let's be honest here we all know Saint will win that.

You cant even dive bots 1v3 at inhib before 20 minutes anymore. In games that end up in long sieges the sieging team often has a lot of global gold. This gold can be used by the support or jungler to buy an Ohmwrecker or other such items, now that it gives decent stats as well.

Protip; Trundle is fucking amazing in the new jungle.
You can play him in any comp, he ganks well, he can deal with seiging, he can deal with counter jungling, he can counter jungle, AND he can control objectives like a mother fucker.
Honestly, I'm calling it now... Trundle will make an impact this season.

uhhhhh, I still have no idea how to kite out blue buff correctly as ADC in jungle. red buff is easy enough, but for whatever reason I'm fucking up the blue buff kite.
also in other news. Nothing makes me lol more than a silver 5 scrub in a normal game trying to call you out for "not grouping" in an empty lane who's inhib is down... Like why are they trying to talk shit when they can't even farm properly?

I main xin, and this patch is even more ridiculous than the Feral Flare 's one. I literally 1v2 or 3 at then end of each game, even full stuffed champs. (well except when it was wukong warwick and malz + ignite)
Those tower have 80% armor reduction, if you really wanna dive, do it with support or someone with more hp less armor that do not need to be close contact to ennemies.

What problem are you having with it?
If you find it to be resetting on you while doing the invincible spot thing, try moving slightly closer. It should look like it keeps cancelling it's own auto-attack (if it's not even trying to AA you, then you're too far away). If you're getting this effect, but it just eventually resets anyway, I recommend saving your burst damage until the end and then executing it before it can do this. Rock buff or any kind of slow / dash lets you kite it in circles as an alternative.
It's basically all about finding the right spot and being consistent about it. If you can do Red I'm sure you can do Blue. Maybe try it like 5 times in empty customs?

With Red it doesn't happen nearly as much, or if it does he only resets partially before trying to after you again. Blue tends to full reset on me.
