I haven't been going that deep into offense generally, but if you feel like you're getting value out of it then go for it. I'm not going to pretend that I know exactly the best way to do everything this early on.

My jungle philosophy is basically "focus runes/masteries on the clear, the rest of the game will sort itself out", so I favor mastery setups like 10/17/3 or 10/11/9 for any junglers that aren't very self-sufficient. Smite options
Auto-attack - Mixed on this. Does a LOT of damage if you can keep on the target, especially if you're playing WW or noct, or some other autoattack reliant champion, and you pretty much autowin duels so long as you smite before damage comes in. At the same time though, that auto damage only comes in IF you can auto the target, and in today's meta, pretty much every single champ released has some mobility skill.

Slow+damage - Pretty damn good on an already strong ganker. Whenever you have a chance to force a flash before expending a gap closer, this seals the deal. Basically cutlass in a summoner.

Farm - sick good on a lot of champs. Healing+clearing a camp every 45 seconds isn't something to be laughed at. It's amazingly powerful, and keeping up several monster buffs at any given time is awesome. You take so much less damage in the jungle by using this, and on a lot of champs, is the difference from either having to base or use pots, or infinitely farming the jungle.

counterjungle - very niche. When it works, you shut down the enemy jungler, but when it doesn't, or you just sit on it, it sucks ass.

I feel like S4-S5 transition is a bit rough for me because I want to just smite everything on CD, so I love the farming one.

I didn't read the patch notes, I just assumed they'd change the jungle. They went through a few items too though, huh?

Not that anyone should take anything away from it, but I was just messing around with smite on toplane as GP. Pretty much went machete first 2 pot, stole enemy red (i'm on blue side). Got back into lane, lost lane pretty bad, cuz smite+machete start, went like 0-4 in lane, but was able to keep up in farm by taking jungle camps. Funny part was when teamfighting came around, I was easily putting out way more damage than the Aatrox (the person I was against) simply because of Challenging Smite. Ended up winning game pretty easily after they botched a teamfight pretty hard. (ace'd um only 1 of our guys died).
Next time probably start lane normally, and if I ever find myself with 750 gold when I back, it'll be a decent pick up.

Yo guys here's a thought could we have like a compiled jungle information thread in strategy.
With the new jungle it would be nice to have a place where you can get good information quickly.

I wouldn't mind trying to compile it. If people will give me there information as I have not really jungled at all since the changes

IMO need to wait a while as people flesh out how to play out jungle, since it's still so new, also who knows what Riot is gunna patch in the next few patches.

How quickly can people finish Devourer? I was messing around with Kayle and had it at 10 minutes in a custom game (golems->wraiths->red->wolves->wight->blue; back for AOE smite, boots, ward+pot; golems->wraiths->wolves->wight; have 12 seconds to ward; golems->wraiths->red; have 1500 gold at 10 minutes with blue buff just having spawned).

I imagine faster junglers can easily shave a minute off that time, moreso with a leash, which is slightly worrying. Afterwards Kayle farms fast enough that the camps don't respawn in time :D

I suggest using a standard start for smite lanes. I have been doing it mid but you can keep your build path normal by doing a standard start into brutalizer or kindle/crystal (depending on which you want to go) then it is only 900-1000 gold to go straight into the enchanted item. It seems to work well, although it definitely needs to be tested on a case by case basis.

Yo scip what do you think of righteous glory on skarner? Tried it once, seemed okay but the match was kind of a stomp so it didn't really matter what I built.

I have no idea, but I think it sohuld be awesome. Last season you needed a flat mana item to not run out of mana with Lizard Elder and that should probably be even more of a case now and Righteous Glory looks like a fantastic way to get that. My one concern is that the new jungle seems to give less gold because no gold stacks on completed jungle items, so you might end up needing more tank stats from items, but I think it should be good.

Tried the true dmg+slow item on Diana, kinda useful but run out of mana too easily.

Also, learnt you can trap red against the wall* with a pink ward

What would you do on Olaf Scip, Juggernaut Stalker's Blade so you have tank stats and the damage reduction to duel people while you rain undertows and reckless swings on them, stacking CDR/tankiness with your other items?
(Righteous Glory Olaf? I'd so buy that item if I needed CDR, but a lot of gold goes to the active and mana so not sure how fast you'd build that, considering it's not cheap either so can't delay it too much.)

Every champion in the game with enough movespeed can do drake at any time in the game. Even level 1.

His autoattack is a skillshot, if you have the micro (and movespeed) when the wind-up starts you can just move out of the way.

Champions like Fiora (block one and dash two) and Pantheon (block all the autos) just make it easier. But it's doable with every champion.
