I lost a couple fights because I forgot that I need to smite someone to get the effect, and that it isn't an item active. With the new smite duration it's not necessarily interesting to smite someone either. | ||

I mean look at what you're giving up in exchange -- Magus is a Morellonomicon without the mana regen/Greivous Wounds for 600 less gold Warrior is (nearly) a Brutalizer plus Pickaxe for ~700 less gold Juggernaut is (nearly) a Giant's Belt plus Kindlegem plus Tenacity for 350 less gold I do think Devourer is a little overtuned by giving 2 stacks on assists (I mean, WW gets infinite assists by pressing W in a fight) but it's still a very niche item. | ||

Devourer is insanely strong for a a single damage item in a build. I also had the same thing happening at times when hitting a champion. One of them ran away one auto from death because I magically stopped attacking him for a solid 2 seconds during the fight, without cc on me. Speaking of which, after playing a couple of games I stand by my opinion that the new "buff bar" is utter trash. The readability is just not there, and despite what they say it seems completely random whether an actual buff with limited duration shows up in your status bar on the left or buff bar in the middle. @Ghandi, you can have both. | ||
