But in practice you need far more CDR than you can effectively get in order to make multiple E's worthwhile and if you're eschewing AP you should be going for pen because more CDR generally won't get you a second rotation off before another mid laner kills you or leaves your threat range With E augment and level 7-9 or so (depending on your AP) you will one shot every creep you hit with your laser. The issue is that hitting every creep in the wave is hard. Adding more CDR in order to clear faster doesn't actually help since the issue is that you cannot hit every creep well enough, not that you can't clear the ones you hit. So if you trade AP for CDR in a way that causes you do not be able to clear a wave with a single E then you've almost certainly lost out. If you can still clear the wave then you're good, but then you have to worry about survivability moreso than CDR imo. | ||

If you are good enough you jump straight over some leagues and get an insane amount of points per win. If your hidden mmr is exactly where your current league is (or even below) then you'll climb very slowly. | ||
